At this point in an election cycle, many campaign staffers are busy fighting the press on what they call process stories. The candidates and their staffs want to talk about their plans and policies while reporters covering them find their audiences demand a play-by-play of the horse race.
The result is constant overstuffing of campaign metrics and polling that only serve to muddy the waters for most political observers. In a close race, such as we have today, there is often plenty of data for both sides to use to their favor. One poll says this, another says that.

"I have always been a believer in data telling me the full story. Truth is, nobody knows what will happen on Election Day. But here is what we do know: 220,000 fewer Democrats have voted early in Ohio compared with 2008. And 30,000 more Republicans have cast their ballots compared with four years ago. That is a 250,000-vote net increase for a state Obama won by 260,000 votes in 2008.
I’ve been refusing to answer any poll telephone callers. The only poll I answered was an automated one and I lied repeatedly saying I was voting for the dims. I did this because we should all let them think they are ahead so they don’t have to cheat so hard and won’t have to manufacture so many dim votes and then they lose in a landslide. Oh I pray Obama and his ilk lose in landslides all over the country. A Reagan like victory for Romney would be a blessing.

Two volunteer poll workers at an Ohio voting station told Human Events that they observed van loads of Ohio residents born in Somalia the state is home to the second-largest Somali population in the United States being driven to the voting station and guided by Democratic interpreters on the voting process. No Republican interpreters were present, according to these volunteers.
I like your style about telling them your voting Dims, very good.
Then factor in all the TEA PARTY people, who are all too smart to participate in their polls, LANDSLIDE Romney. NOTE: Has anyone heard that OPRAH is now backing Romney. Email this morning said she was.
This makes me feel a whole lot better.
