Of course it is. NPR keeps saying that Ohio is a "must win" state for Romney. If Romney doesn't win Ohio then he has to practically "run the board" and win every other swing state. Oddly, enough, Obama doesn't seem to have any "must win" states. Obama is basically cruising to victory -- the only thing that might stop him is that Romney might win Ohio.

The Left wants to hold on to power.

If there is any way they can cheat, they will.
If there is any place where they would want to cheat, it is Ohio.

Ohio’s 18 electoral votes would seem to be no more important than any other 18 electoral votes...

“Run the board”? Hardly. Florida would do, or North Carolina plus New Hampshire.

And Obama could lose Ohio, Florida, North Carolina, Virgina and Indiana and still win (if I’m reading numbers right).

It’s gonna suck if Obama wins Ohio but loses WI/PA/CO/etc.

Are you that pessimistic about everything in the coming election ? Are you as pessimistic about Conservative Republicans’ ability to reign in Congress and gain enough control in this year’s elections in order to be able to keep Obama in check ? I would hope we can at least ensure that much in the absolute worst case scenario that Democrats use voter fraud to get Obama a second term.
