Hope you had a good Friday. I didn’t have to take my Dad in this morning....just monitor the “blister” thingy. He was so alert when I woke him this morning. So I went to work.
My Mom emailed later that he said he was too tired to get up and get ready for the flu shot. My email...tell him he’s going. And if he won’t get dressed, he can go in his pjs (I called the lab and they said “of course” they would come out to the car and administer my folks flu shots), but I was picking up our friend (who doesn’t drive) to come with us.
He was up and dressed ready to attempt shaving when I got home. All went beautifully!! The friend and I went in, got our shots, then the tech came out and gave my folks their shots. Slick as a whistle.
Then I took them to Dairy Queen (the original plan) for waffle cone sundaes. They all enjoyed that. Took the friend to the credit union (my credit union and I was already going) and then home. He was ready for a nap, but it went so smoothly!!

I had planned on going to a self reliance expo this weekend but some nasty mutli legged creature bit me on the foot & I can't even get my stupid shoe on. Am I mad????????????? If I find em I'll squish em! LOL
