I find it hard to believe that a storm in the Bahamas now would still be around in almost 2 weeks. They are digging up all sorts of possible scenarios that they could win. I saw some more of the “Ohio could hold up election results for weeks” headlines today.
I sincerely hope it’s not so close that any of this nonsense comes into play.

If the storm causes power outages from Norfolk, to Buffalo, to Boston, there won’t be enough crews to get the power back on in a week. Imagine the looting if power in New York were out for three days ...

And if the power goes out in Philly, New York, or Boston, looting occurs, then the National Guard gets called out. So then the election goes on with Guard troops in the streets. I can see Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson on the TV now crying voter suppression ...

If Sandy does brush the Northeast it’ll be Sunday into Monday. I’m sure everything will be okay by the following Tuesday on election day.
