Wow - that live video feed from the circling drone and the live/real-time messages from the consulate compound must not have been very convincing.
Add to it - for 7 hours, the assault raged on - in 7 hours, choppers with real fighting men could have been on the scene.
7 hours...
Needs to be a Romney campaign add over the next several days.

Obama was subliminally speaking this morning when he called Romney a bullshitter. He really meant Panetta.

I assumed that good ole' Sec. Defense (Sec. non-Defense) Leon Panetta, would crawl out from one of Hillary's pant legs before long to spout some drivel and hope people found it plausible.
This crap is just great, we can't do anything because we don't want to put the lives of American military "at risk" since we don't know what's going on in Lybia, even though we're looking at it live and in color.
Pretty miserable claiming we will sacrifice four (4) lives for Islam rather than send our brave American military to kick some butt attempting to save the four (4), but gee that one's a hard call and Obama promised me that I'd not be asked to make any hard calls as he and Hillary would take care of the "heavy lifting."

Panetta was been a worthless political hack and has been a disaster as Sec. Def. - a position he had absolutely no qualifications for when Obama appointed him....other than being a worthless political hack.

Risk of what? They’d been putting assets over Libya over and over in their fever to take out Qaddafi and save the so-called Libyan freedom fighters, but it was too risky to deploy anything to save Americans?

Yada, yada, yada. More lies. Does he think we didn’t already know there had been attacks and buzz in recent months? When you get a frantic call saying they’re under fire, what’s lacking?

That is an absolutely pathetic and unbelievable excuse. They would have had no idea how long the people there might hold out. They could have put assets in the air and had up to two hours to decide whether to use them while they were enroute. But nothing was deployed.
Panetta's excuse is no different than a field commander getting a call from one of his squads saying they were pinned down and being overrun and responding "We probably can't get to them. Let's forget about it."

...because military leaders did not have adequate intelligence information and felt they should not put American forces at risk, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said Thursday..... What military leaders? Name them. Next why didnt they have adequate intelligence information, and who was responsible for that failure?
That is the question, our military does not act without orders. There was just total silence.
To: RummyChick
Oh. Ok. That’s that then.

They send the Ambassador into the terrorists den with little security, (on 9/11) no rapid response protection and then lie about the attack caused from a video for 2 weeks afterwards when they had the e-mails during the attack.
