Sometimes Rush takes things too personal....making a caller's call all about him. He seemed wounded she would infer he was putting out too much "good" news on his show....which she wasn't at all......although he should be exhorting listeners to work hard and volunteer as it ain't over til it's over. He doesn't do much of that at all.
She was trying to point out that the Dems have a vast ground game going to turn out their base. She is correct on that...take it from an old political veteran. She was warning about excessive optimism based on current polls. She mentioned that various states need worker volunteers badly. She herself lives in Texas and is at the moment ringing doorbells in Virginia, then she's going to Ohio. So she puts her money where her mouth is.
Rush asked her rather sarcastically why she thinks the GOP "isn't working on the ground". She replied she thinks it is, but nothing can be "let up" from this point on.
The lady was right on point in all she said. God bless her spirit and intelligence.
If I were she, I'm afraid I would have asked Rush...."how many of YOUR personal neighbors and friends in your Palm Beach neighborhood are out ringing doorbells, making phone calls, manning headquarters, lining up poll rides, etc." seeing that Florida is a battleground state....I wager not too many.

I'm fed up and I'm not going to take it any more and I'm going to go have myself a Dove Chocolate Ice Cream Bar with Dark Chocolate Coating.
So there!
Over and out.

I prefer the optimistic approach at this time since anything else I fear will keep people away from the polls feeling defeated. Yes, I think everyone needs to get involved but if you don’t know it at this point I doubt you ever will.
