Exactly!! Imagine you’re one of those swing voter suburban moms, struggling to keep your family’s house because you and your husband have been unemployed or underemployed for a year...and you’re told the reason you can’t trust Mitt Romney is because some rich chick was handed 500,000 shares of Staples in a divorce and she didn’t time the sale right and make millions more than she already had. Yeah, boo hoo!

He already has answered.. Let the record speak for itself, open the files, I have nothing to hide.. The left WILL find something to say that is negative to Romney, no matter what he says.. The media will play it as “Hair on Fire” development, in any case..
It will make a difference to some, the results will determine, who, and how much..
Who didn’t know/see this coming? The Romney campaign expected something, this may/will, not be all of the surprises that Obama has in it’s bag of BS..

I think you're right. The Benghazi debacle, a mushrooming scandal, should eclipse everything else for the time being. If not, Drudge has Allred meeting with Obama two weeks ago. That puts Obama personally in the middle of a sleazy smear attempt involving a confidential divorce transcript. Ten years ago Obama got another crooked judge to unseal his senate primary opponent's—who was favored to win—divorce records which embarrassed him into withdrawing. That would make a good campaign commercial.

Buddies? That's kinda like saying that Burton and Taylor were "acquainted".

OH NOES! Stop the presses! Mitt Romney testified in a divorce case!
Gloria All-RED is just making herself look ridiculous with this stuff, except to the credulous fans of MSNBC.

She pretty much lost because she wanted to spin the whole thing to savage Romney. The gag order forbids her ability to do so. Romney's lawyer says it's fine with him to release Romney's testimony, so that will likely happen. That's clearly what she wants (and screw her client - she couldn't care less about her), but she also wants to talk freely (lie) about it, and now she can't.
This is egregious grandstanding - even by her lofty standards - and the judge (to his credit) doesn't seem to want it happening in his courtroom.
Hat tip to proudtexasmama for the summary above in #37.

exactly right. at the end of the day its the economy that makes or breaks R’s campaign. everything else is noise.
To: fish hawk
She lost, badly. Her goal was to get the gag order lifted so her client could go on talk shows and claim Mitt shafted her and her kids. She only got the transcipt, which will mean little to the average American and does nothing to make Mitt look bad.
The judge knew exactly what was going on here and squashed it. Good on her.

"when has a gag order ever stopped these people?" Well, this one seemed to at least get her attention. I can't recall the phrasing, but she called it the most sweeping, comprehensive lock-down of a gag order she's ever encountered in all her years of practicing.
Gee, you think it might have been personal?

Oh, but the MSM will make it SOUND like there’s something there that’s damaging to Romney,
and the sheep will go “BAAAAA!”

Sadly, no. It sounds like YOU had a good time though. :-)

If the sheep were going “BAAAAAAA” the “Romney killed my wife” ad would have worked.
Too many people have seen the emperor has no clothes. Some rich chick whining about selling her Staples stock too late isn’t going to cover Zero’s naked butt.

Yeah the media will try to twist what Romney said 20 years ago into something to hurt Romney now. I won’t give ideas to the media but I’m sure they have 100,000 reporters each working to twist this in the must hurtful way to Romney. It’s like a contest , whatever reporter wins then the other reporters parrot that to everyone.
