No surprise is right.
Powell is a phony self-promoter and should never have been considered a conservative by anyone.
He belongs firmly in the Nobama camp.

Powell burned his bridges with the GOP when he leaked Iraq info to the NYT while SoS under Bush and his endorsement of Obama in 2008. Maybe he is applying for Hillary’s job as Obama’s SoS, should he get re-elected.
RINOs need to be set free.

Hold him up to West and he pales to nothingness - the difference between a man and an affirmative action patsy.

It’s a black thing.
Powell’s speaking and writing customers are now all black. With 92%+ going for Obama, Powell isn’t going to rock the boat.

Did Powell ever care about the country - or was it all an act for self promotion? The answer is obvious.
For his continued allegiance to the most destructive administration in our lifetime, I hope his career spirals down in flames along with the obama presidency.

Was justing thinking about Powell the other day and winding if he would maintain his silence through Election Day or step out and double down looking like a fool. Now we know. He places race ahead of all else.

So, basically, Powell was a “Republican” only when it would advance his career, huh?
Powell’s endorsement is hardly a surprise, nor is it a big deal. Powell has squandered all his personal capital. This was totally predictable.
