President Barack Obama says at the start of a 48-hour campaign trip that "trust matters" in a presidential campaign and he has kept the same values throughout his political career.
Obama is seeking to contrast himself with what he considers Republican Mitt Romney's shifting views.
Obama told voters in Iowa's Quad Cities on Wednesday that they can take videotape of things he said 10 years ago or 12 years ago and say, quote, "man, this is the same guy."
Obama says he hasn't finished all the work he and his supporters set out to do in 2008, but says he has fought for people every day.
Iowa is the first stop on a 48-hour trip to key states. The president said: "We're going to pull an all-nighter. No sleep."

We trust you’ll lie.
If this were true you'd be down by 50 points, but the Demonic Party voters' definition of "trust" is as demented and putrid as your candidacy.
Keeping the same values means nothing to me if such values are wrong to begin with.
It’s like being schmucky, consistency has no value if you are still a schmuck.
If the disaster of a second four years for this phony, egotistical, progressive Kenyan comes to pass, then the nation’s true conservatives will know that Washington, D.C. is very similar to Madrid in 1936. The communists and the homosexuals will be in the driver’s seat instead of under the bus where they belong.
did he hiss the ssssssssssss when he said it?

Yes, it does. Trust is usually a two-way street. Obama doesn’t trust the American people and he only seems to like a select few.
Obama isn’t moving back to Chicago, he is moving back to Hawaii so that he can keep people at a distance, especially urban blacks.
What about it Mr President? Where is your trust?
I was over the hissssss and whistlig s-es the very first time I heard him speak. I think I will miss that the least.
It is amazing that Obama has the nerve to talk about truthfulness and trust.
But, it was my takeaway that this was going to be one of his big closing themes while I watched him in the 3rd debate. Several times, he told Romney things like “The problem is, none of what the Governor has said is true,” or “you said something different several years ago.”
I think the focus groups have given Axelrod the hope that Romney’s shape-shifting during the primaries is a good line of attack to regain lost ground, and that Obama should portray himself as the strong, consistent, truthful contrast to Romney. This is absurd, but I think that is the line they have decided to push. It also fits in well with the first few months of purely destructive personal campaigning about Bain, taxes, and Mormonism.
The pot calling the kettle black! (Is that racist?, If so, I don't give a damn!)
The singular scary thing that this phony can do, among a multitude of other evil, is to appoint more leftist ‘progressives’ to the supreme court. If he gets re-elected by ‘hook or crook’ then not only is the Republican Party history, but so are the rest of us that yearn for a stable, lean government.
