Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is in a powerful position to make a break and do the right thing. Do the right thing now, Hillary. Just do it.
I wouldn’t hold my breath as she stood alongside Obama repeating his lies. If there are files that would exonerate her they could arrange for them to be leaked just as the recent memos have been leaked. There are ways around it and the Clintons are very adept getting information out there.
It seems to me that the failure to protect our people in Benghazi is simple politics. Obama did not want to upset the Muslim Brotherhood by inserting US military in a rescue attempt. Obama has decided to back the Brotherhood and keeping on their good side was, in Obama’s mind, worth the lives of the four Americans. He may have been further influenced by the fact that the Ambassador and his guard were white.
As much as can’t stand Slick Willie he is right. This would be a politically astute move for Hillary. The party would not blame her, Obama is going to lose anyway and if she brings him down harder, less crap on the party is probably what they will think. He can be the sacrifice. They can spend the next 4 years blaming it on Obama. Come on Hillary do it, or at least leak those documents through someone else. Leave them lying on a desk somewhere.......

As much as I’d like to believe it, this sounds like a huge CYA for all parties involved in the coverup.
1. Provides Hillary cover from charges of incompetence by spreading a rumor that she asked for more security.
2. Allows Hillary to look good with the socialist party by making her appear fiercely loyal to the point of falling on the sword.
3. Bill gets cover by simply being able to deny the story.
4. Obama gets cover by also being able to deny the story and to continue to allow Hillary to take the heat.
An attempt to make lemonade out of lemons.

Right now it looks like Hillary is responsible for the death of four people. If she really was thwarted from attempting to prevent that event why would she want that blame? Causing death of Americans or bringing down a corrupt regime? Which would you want to be remembered for in 10 years?
The true ‘money’ sentence in this is this:
“While Bill Clinton wishes his wife would “exonerate” herself by releasing the documents that show she wasn’t at fault for the tragic security failure in Libya, the secretary of state refuses to do so because she doesn’t want to be viewed as a traitor to the Democratic party.”
Please note that Hillary did not care a whit about being a traitor to the country, only to the Democrat party. Let that sink in for a bit.

Hillary gave a statement and she is the first one I have found officially that attributed the terrorist attack to some inflammatory material posted on the Internet.

I condemn in the strongest terms the attack on our mission in Benghazi today. As we work to secure our personnel and facilities, we have confirmed that one of our State Department officers was killed. We are heartbroken by this terrible loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and those who have suffered in this attack.
This evening, I called Libyan President Magariaf to coordinate additional support to protect Americans in Libya. President Magariaf expressed his condemnation and condolences and pledged his government’s full cooperation.
Some have sought to justify this vicious behavior as a response to inflammatory material posted on the Internet. The United States deplores any intentional effort to denigrate the religious beliefs of others. Our commitment to religious tolerance goes back to the very beginning of our nation. But let me be clear: There is never any justification for violent acts of this kind.
In light of the events of today, the United States government is working with partner countries around the world to protect our personnel, our missions, and American citizens worldwide.
Why does Klein think the increase in security would be slowed by the CIA or the Pentagon? They jump when the administration says jump.
I don’t really believe this. Hillary already fell on the sword in return for not having to pay her campaign costs out-of-pocket. This deal is worth millions of dollars to her personally and I’m really doubting that she would undo this deal at this point. The docs are probably classified with a declassification date after her campaign costs are paid. She’ll be out at State either way and won’t care what happens after that.

Why would she... Politically speaking? Benghazigate is too big now... Subpoenas will be filed which will exonerate her if this is true... If she wants to exonerate herself before the election, she’ll let it be known through back channels that if subpoenad she’ll cooperate.. The fact that it has not happened leads me to believe she thinks bammy will lose anyway... best scenario for her, as none if the base would blame her and she’d be exonerated after the election.
I believe Hillary was close friends with Ambassador Stevens, so this has to doubly stinging.
And, they have the media covering up for them on all of this.
Heads need to roll.....
How is this situation different from all the other Clinton manipulative crap we’ve suffered?
