WH: ‘We Decline to Comment’ on When Obama Learned of E-Mails, Met With NSC on Benghazi By Fred Lucas October 24, 2012
(CNSNews.com) - The White House is declining to say when President Barack Obama first learned of three e-mails that the State Department sent to the White House on Sept. 11, 2012, directly notifying the Executive Office of the President that the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi was under attack, that U.S. Amb. Chris Stevens was at the Benghazi mission at the time of the attack, and that the group Ansar al-Sharia had taken credit for the attack.
The White House also declined to say when the president first met with the National Security Council after the Benghazi attack.
“I have been asked by one of our spokespeople to relay ‘that we decline to comment,’” said White House National Security Staff aide Debbie Bird in a written response to CNSNews.com.
CNSNews.com had asked Bird: 1) “When did the President first meet with the National Security Council after the Benghazi attack on 9/11/12?” 2) “When did White House staff first discuss the substance of the e-mails that went to the White House with the President or with the National Security Advisor?”
Carney also took a question about the e-mails today during a press gaggle held aboard Air Force One at 9:34 a.m. A reporter asked: “Jay, there are some emails that have emerged, which suggest that the White House and other areas of the government were told within hours of the Benghazi attack that an extremist group had claimed responsibility. How is that compatible with the idea that it was a spontaneous attack?”
Carney downplayed the significance of the State Department emails.

The real translation of this is that the people currently occupying the White House are too stupid to figure out what is happening when it is happening and need a week or so to figure out how to spin it (with the help of their friends in the media) so they come out smelling like roses. This one stinks. These people really are too stupid to be in charge and that means America is in danger until they leave.

The WH is out of lies now. Since they are out of lies, they have no clue how to comment. The Empty Chair Rat is cornered ,,,and I fear he is about to get a lot more dangerous!
I remember. Watergate was small potatoes compared to Benghazi. Hope it all unravels quickly - people died and people lied. There is such a dark cloud over our country over this and upper echelon leaders are involved. Time to clean out our government. Big time.

And while that question was asked of Nixon, Nixon only heard about the Watergate break in AFTER they had been caught. Of course the break in was part of the whole sneaky, “tricky Dick” culture that Nixon had cultivated. (Although I think it was DEAN that arranged it all - and it was for his own personal reasons, and had nothing to do with Nixon).
ANYWAY - this Benghazi thing is not JUST the attack, but is what occurred BEFORE the attack, and the culture that Obama has created in Libya and elsewhere. (Arming Al-Queda, etc.)
My guess is that they have some damning emails, not yet released, that show them discussing how to use this attack for maximum political gain for the reelection campaign.
If this is found to be true they will have hell to pay on election day.
They will stonewall, claim Executive privilege, anything to delay the public from getting those emails before Nov 6th.......
