If this was Bush or Romney the story would be coast to coast, 24/7 on all the networks.

Shouldn’t the bill be paid by the 1%? They can afford it!

Democrats are thieves and cheapskates.

Isn't this the same campaign that pulled in over $1 billion from donations? The largest in history.
WHERE did ALL that money go?

Every major city TV news program has a business complaint advocate. The news person usually goes on TV, makes the problem known, and VOILA, everything is good.

Simple! Send the bill to all registered Democrats in the city. I’m sure they would be delighted to help.

Here’s an idea for the city of Springfield. Wait until after the inauguration when the bam is unemployed, then file your lawsuit, but name individuals as defendants, not the “campaign” proper.

The whole story of the Dem candidates stiffing the vendors while borrowing more money from Bank of America should be a CAMPAIGN AD.
Something like:
“They can’t even run a solvent campaign. Stiffing the little guy while borrowing and borrowing to sell their failed ideas. If they can’t even run a solvent campaign, why would you trust them to run an economically sound government?
OK. Needs work. But you get the idea.

While I agree with you in principle, the bottom line is like any band of freeloaders they feel entitled to use the labors of others without compensation.

Here is a lesson to all you communities. When a democrat shows up to get permits to do an event in your town. Estimate the costs, add 1/2 to that cost, and make em pay up front...by certified check.
Tell them you’ll return the extra, minus administration costs, the administration costs should suck up the extra.
End of story.

Simple Resolution. After 0bama moves to Hawaii in January, all the cities that got stuck with Zero’s campaign debt should sell that debt to a single debt collection agency. I’m sure they would have no problem sueing Zero and placing a lien on his $35M home.

They can place liens on Dem properties and liquidate them one at a time.
Love to see the Dems’ faces once they start losing real assets.

FYI Springfield and Sangamon County as well as nearly every other county in Illinois is predominantly Republican/conservative. It is our great misfortune to be saddled with the politicians from Sh__cago that have driven this state to near bankruptcy. In the last gubernatorial election the winner, a Democrat, carried only two counties; Cook and the one that encompasses East St. Louis. So don't be so hard on us farm kids from downstate. We don't like this a@@hole anymore than you do. BTW, as my name implies I am from Springfield and I get to pay the tax to cover this crap.

Obama the deadbeat President.
You would think, this epitome of moral rectitude, and a president whose campaign broke all campaign donation records would have reimbursed tiny Springfield if they reimbursed anyone.
But, apparently, for Obama, Springfield is no better than Jeremiah Wright - useful when useful and then denied and ignored.

A little disengenuosity on my part. I know full well it’s Illinois but one of my Posting Peeves is the lack of a dateline or even a mention of the geographical location for a story.
