I know that Israel has women in the military. Do you know whether they serve “in combat” or not? I sincerely don’t know.

I believe they do, but their situation is different, considering the entire country is close to the front lines.

Not in combat units since the very early days, when IIRC a few did.
Now they are in support roles, though also IIRC these could be pretty close to the frontline.

Israel has their women doing non combat functions. The 121st Intel watched The Fence. The girls say the guys don’t have the attention span to do it.

Well, there was that article posted here a week or two ago where the young woman in the IDF platoon hid behind a bush until the shooting was over (incident at the Egyptian border)...

Based on that the answer to "serving in combat" would be "inconclusive."
