Bad guys should always think twice in South Carolina.

GAFFNEY, S.C. --
A Gaffney convenience store clerk fended off two armed robbers when he shot one of them with a handgun he had nearby, police said Tuesday morning.
Gaffney Police Chief Rick Turner said two men, one of them armed with a semi-automatic rifle and who had just been released from jail earlier that evening, walked into the Bargain Spot on Cherokee Avenue around 8:30 Monday night and tried to rob the clerk.
The man with the rifle stood at the door while the second man demanded the money bag, Turner said. But the store clerk was able to grab his handgun and fire at the man with the rifle.
Both men ran away from the store, and about an hour later police found one of the robbers who had been shot twice. Turner identified him as Lee Tate and said he was taken to the hospital, released, and then charged with armed robbery.
On Tuesday afternoon police arrested the second suspect, Demond Guyton, 19, and charged him with armed robbery as well.

That clerk’s lucky they only used a semi-automatic rifle and not an AK or something.
If you bring a weapon to a crime you better believe in SC someone will shoot.

Probably one of those evil “assault” rifles with a 400 round clip. Might’ve even had a deadly bayonet lug.
More important are the make and model of the thing(s) walking in the door of the shop. Looks to me like we have here a couple of badly defective Amish trying to play "grown-up." With a rifle, no less.
They should have stayed home, and played "Pimp" or "Crack Dealer." Those silly Amish, huh?!! Too bad that shop owner isn't a better shot. Someone with better aim is just going to have to shoot 'em again later.

Given the brilliance of these robbers, the one he shot twice he probably hit in the head and the bullets bounced off.
“He’s been in here (the jail) about 12 times over the past few years.” Obviously his mama didn’t raise him right.
