Can you feel it?
The wave, that is. I speak of one that will wash away far more than just a failed presidency. This wave will have the torque to rock the entire liberal bubble -- the political/media/crony bubble -- leaving it forever exposed. Ironically, those inside this bubble will be the last to know -- which is precisely why it will happen. Those who would rule over us, and insult us with outrage over Big Bird, academic debate-scoring, "binders" memes, and specious jobs statistics know nothing about us. This includes those inside the bubble who purport to represent our views.
But we know them well. For the record, "we" refers to the quarter of the country that never bought into the fraudulent vapor of Obama

that is not a very intelligent comment
You guys are acting like there’s another choice we can make..........FGS, are you going to vote for obammy?
It is what it is-———
You need to re-read my post. I said nothing like that.
sorry basil that was for timber rattler who is majorly irritating me with his comments
You are correct
My description of your thoughts is Pragmatic Conservatism. We go forward (yes forward) with what we have, with what is possible.
We won’t bitch and moan about ideological purity prohibiting actual living. We don’t pat our selves on the back for worthless action that are actually detrimental to the future. We don’t constantly spout sanctimonious drivel that accomplishes nothing but self delusion. We act responsibly and move forward.
I ick that saying
“it is what it is”...............yech what a dumb comment
but yeah, I think Romney is only about A MILLION TIMES more palatable than 0
thank you
You're kidding, right? YOU should definitely know better.
"I will preserve and protect a woman's right to choose," Romney said during a 2002 debate against Democratic gubernatorial opponent Shannon O'Brien. "I am not going to change our pro-choice laws in Massachusetts in any way. I am not going to make any changes which would make it more difficult for a woman to make that choice herself."
Timber Newbie,
You respond to your critics as I expect a troll to respond.
And some people wonder why Conservatives get treated like abused spouses.
Thanks for reading: keep in mind:
The piece was edited down by 600 words - not my choice. Sarah Palin was, and remains, a factor in this wave. My published works include many articles lauding her and in fact I was one of the first. Not every piece can include every single pertinent thought. And yes, Palin is pertinent.
Dumbing down and diluting Conservatism is the solution?
No wonder things are so screwed up...
The left has gone so far to that side they have pulled the right to the middle...
And we are paying for it.
Part of the problem indeed...
There are other choices.
1) Vote Third Party
2) Write in a prominent Conservative's name
3) Leave the "President" box unmarked, but vote Conservative the rest of the way down ticket.
4) Stay home.
I for one, refuse to drink the Romney/GOP-E hemlock.
“One election is not enough to bring this nation back to the vision of our forefathers-but it would be a start.”
WELL SAID!
You clearly didn’t read the piece, but thanks for your comments anyway. I suspect they make you feel superior to us rubes enjoying conservative porn.
The reason I know you didn’t read the piece is that I clearly point out in three distinct places, maybe more, that this is a less than perfect victory and leaves a daunting amount of work to do and we’ll be led by leaders who still do not get it. Maybe come down off your high horse, or is that high horsemen, and read, learn, engage.
To each his own.
ya gotta go step by step ejonesie, believe me, if it could go otherwise, I would vote that way.
But you all let Sarah Palin twist in the wind while you swished your red wine in your glass and stared into the fireplace in your library
Your grandchildren will hate you for this
