If the court sealed it there was a reason. I think that in some civil cases when both parties agree to something provided its not released to the public then the court can seal it. Shell need a pretty good reason to unseal it. Then too, if its something that Romney wants to keep sealed hell have a bunch of lawyers holding it up until well after the election
Don't forget that Obama got his Senate seat by having his opponents divorce records unsealed. However this late in the campaign this isn't going to have an impact, unless the judge is in on the game and completely in the bag. Like you said a good lawyer can keep this tied up for 14 days. After that it doesn't matter much.

If I were president, I’d have my AG and DOJ investigate that. I’d also start impeachment proceedings against the judge even is just to force him to incur legal fees.

Just wondering what the issue was, how long ago did it happen and why was it sealed in the first place. But then, as you say, it can take over two weeks. Also, what’s the big rush on her part. She had plenty of time to bring up whatever she’s digging for. Plus she’s a civil rights lawyer. Was this a civil rights case or criminal? Inquiring minds need to know.
