Last night Barack Obama mocked the use of horses and bayonets in the military. Today Bayonet Inc. told Obama to get educated. TMZ reported:
TMZ spoke with multiple people in the bayonet industry who tell us they were shocked and even offended when Obama brought up the weapon during last nights debate.
According to the official U.S. Marine Corps website, every Marine is STILL required to complete a bayonet training program because the weapon becomes just as effective [as a rifle] in close combat situations.
We spoke with Dan Riker from Bayonet Inc. a leading military surplus outlet that specializes in bayonets who tells us he believes Obamas comment was ignorant because our soldiers still use bayonets.
He adds, [Bayonets] are still distributed to the military all the time he should get educated on it.
I keep reading about Marines using bayonets in response to Obama's comment. Doesn't the army infantry still use them as well?

He didn’t make that!
He should also get educated that aircraft carriers and boats that go underwater cost a lot more than a sailing ship.
I think Obama mentioned the Bayonet because its training includes the ‘Buttstroke’. Which doesn’t mean what he thinks it might.

The Food Stamp President has degrees from several prestigious universities, but not much of an education .... the best he can claim is “lawyer” which is equivalent to a pooper scooper at a rodeo.

From this day forward, only Corpse-men will be issued bayonets.
WEWEASE BWIAN!
(sorry, just had to)
“He didnt make that!”
LOL
No he didn’t...........I did. They go into production for a limited time first thing in the morning after my first cup.
Yes obummer there are aircraft carriers and airplanes do land on them. They would be dead ducks if they weren't surrounded by a multi-ship task force for protection and support. Each carrier battle group can consist of 8-12 ships in addition to the carrier.
All submariners would rather be shot than call their submarines "ships" as you did. They are "boats".
And finally, yes Mr. know it all, they are riding horses in Afghanistan.
It doesn't look like you did learn much as CiC after all...
0bama is holding his until after the election when he will have more flexibility to dump on the American people.
Wewease Wodewick!
Every time he finished speaking, then stared at Romney as though he was on opiates, continually blinking with ire, I was just waiting for Romney to nonchalantly back hand b*tch-slap him. I could imagine the sissy-boy cowering and crying for help as he pretended to have half the testosterone of a 4th grader.
Very strange. Apparently some folks in the Marine Corps have never checked the fit of bayonets on their current primary battle weapon, the M4. They do not fit! They haven't fit since the Corps exchanged their M16's for M4's.
Today's bayonet is nothing more than a fancy fighting knife that can not be attached to the Marines basic weapon.
Whirl, Parry and Thrust!
and that's a good thing
I read many years ago that the bayonet was considered obsolete in military circles, but it is still issued because it is the one tool that most soldiers will NOT throw away.
