Liberal pundit Chris Matthews explained Mitt Romney's support among conservatives, despite the candidate shifting toward the center on a number of issues, as a product of "racial hatred."

Hey, Mr. Tingles, a lot of us were pulling for Herman Cain and he’s 100% black. Obama is only 50%. So don’t call us racist.
It’s true.... I have positive hate for white yankee detritus.
Matthews: Vote for Obama to prove you aren’t a racist.
Sorry tingles, this isn’t 2008 when we could afford that kind of nonsense.
He’s close to joining Jesse Jr. in the loony bin - probably overdue by a few years.
Seriously, Chrissie acts deranged!
vaudine
I have a client who’s a black civil rights lawyer and works as some kind of dem election official...just the other night she was getting into her “republicans just want Romney because he’s white”, tirade, and I reminded her that conservatives LOVE Allen West and he was a likely presidential hope in the future...and she just about blew her stack. “Right wing radical trying to destroy everything black people have fought for” etc., to her and the people she works with he’s almost public enemy number one.
They’re very threatened by any black man who shucks his chains, especially a leader like West that gets his drive by bringing people together rather than drive wedges between.
Eye opening conversation.
Racial hatred against Irish drunk-ass liberal spittle-flecked manic-acting freaks.
Yes, yes it is.
I don't either, but I have very, very little doubt that he is at his core a bit of a racist. You can't sit and listen to ‘black liberation theology’ for all those years, and have mentors like Frank Marshall Davis, and not in some way be affected. Beyond that, his actions and his words underscore his ideology - and it is an ideology that sees villains and victims. This ideological view fuels class warfare and racial misunderstanding, and in my opinion hinders us as a society from working together to find solutions.
As for Chrissy, he is typical of white suburban pseudo-intellectual ‘progressives’ who think they understand race, but have very little personal experience with it and generally no clue what they're talking about.
I've seen racism, from both sides, up close and personal - not just from reading or from some university class. Friends were shot, there were riots two blocks from home when I was a child, and I literally can't walk where I grew up without significant risk of being killed. That said, what this has left me with is honestly a balanced perspective, without prejudice. To the contrary, my experiences have led me to think of race as a really stupid issue perpetuated by people who either have an agenda, or who refuse to grow up. Chrissy seems to fit both criteria - although he probably thinks of himself as incredibly ‘informed’.
If it’s race that drives hatred, then why being a white guy myself do I hate Chris Matthews so much?
Matthews needs to see Rev Wright in action - plus ‘the bow’ and ‘I’ll transmit to Vlad”...

When a liberal “thinks,” they are at the mercy of a loop in their brain. Perhaps they should be smacked upside the head.
I bet Bill Clinton is on the other cheek with 0 in the middle.
Chrissy the Sissy is so full of it that his eyes are brown!
:snort: It would be good if there were some reasonable explanation like alcohol, medication, or drugs, but Alas! Poor Twinky is just bat guano crazy. In light of his condition, I don’t think there’s a prayer in h3ll that any rehab or “cure” can help him. Padded cell?
