Despicable.. CNN, STACKS THE DECK.. MODERATOR, DEALS FROM THE BOTTOM
If it wasn't so sad, it would be hilarious, that after the major media has suffered the most dramatic decline in it's influence, leadership, and profits, they appear to have failed once again..
It became obvious early on, that they could not help themselves in displaying their worn out biased agenda in helping their choice, President Obama, the final debate of this all important election contest..
CNN, scrolled a rolling poll at the bottom of it's screen, where the network claimed to have undecided Florida voters, tune in their real time opinions as the debate progressed, which barring a Breach Of Promise lawsuit, fell far short of the fair handed goal..
It was abundantly clear from the very beginning, that the selected audience was chosen carefully to be leaners, and not nearly balanced in their sympathies to a particular participant.. Guess who?
Finally, although much more seasoned than the last diabolical sycophant, Candy Crowley, tonight's moderator, CBS News' Bob Schieffer, came in with a prayer, but he held his powder dry enough to allow some appearance of balance.. However, one would have to be tone deaf to miss the curve balls aimed at Gov. Romney, and the softballs lobbed at the President..
All Romney had to do was appear to be qualified to be President, and he scored hit after hit out of the park.. The President had to play from behind and vanquish his opponent, to stop, or at least slow the surge that his first debate failure left his campaign is faced with..
By all accounts, ADVANTAGE ROMNEY!
Once more the GOP establishment demonstrated their lack of fitness to direct the GOP by agreeing this type of debate format. Reince WHO??? Pribus WHAT?
Isn;t that some kind of Latin Noun? Pribus, Pribo, Pri-Bum, Pribo, Pribi, Priborum, Pribis, Pribos, Pribis???
Nonetheless, Romney behaved ADMIRABLY. He looked Presidential without looking mean-spirited as did the rude creature in the White House currently and he successfully defused any leftist attempts to portray him as a war-monger.
I still think he should have landed some harder jabs to Obama’s flawed foreign policy in more detail than he did.
I tuned into a radio rebroadcast and heard them discussing domestic issues (like edumacation and economic growth) for several minutes at length each. After Barack Obama posed several challenges to Romney’s statements, Romney attempted to respond and was told by the lax moderator that the discussion should be dropped and they should return to foreign policy issues.
If they were that far off in the weeds in the first 30 minutes and the moderator was hesitant to let BOTH candidates get their questions answered, why bother?
That is a fair assessment.. Lets face it, if Romney wins he will be our President as well..
I don’t want another mistake, but I have to say, someone that wasn’t thrilled about Romney, I have felt really comfortable with his comportment on this campaign trail..
That was my impression as well.. He was hesitant to allow Romney to venture down rat holes that was already occupied by the Bamster.. LOL
Neither one hit anything out of the park.
0bama keeps trying to project himself as the alpha male, but he can’t do it. He seems to have no plan for the next 4 years.
OK!.. You get right to the point, I’ll mark you down as undecided.. HA!.. :)
never understand why republicans have to agree to leftist moderators
I keep saying this statement over and over again in hope that voters will finally choose Republicans who are not politically correct and “go along to get along.”
However, it simply is not important to RINOs.
I watched Obie while Mitt was speaking. A couple times he tried the Biden response, but mostly he seemed in awe of Romney. I think he knows what was happening.
I saw that as well.. He looked disgusted, watching his chances dwindling before his eyes..
Obama had bad training in dealing with stress and criticism.. They need to lay this failure where it belongs, the mainstream media.. Had they done their job, he should never have been a candidate in the first place.. once this was know, they were forced to protect him.. Winning is everything..
Was listening to the debate on the radio when I heard that. I laughed out loud. I knew the lame-stream would never even hint that he said it, but I also knew the truth would come out.
I bet the transcript even “massages” his slip.
