This site will be useless on Election Night.


Yup.

I learned during the last debate that it is an exercise in futility to try to log on here when something interesting is going on. It’s not ready for prime time, though we have some great members.

I tried it tonight for fun and, sure enough, I couldn’t get on. I won’t bother on election night. And it’s too late to bother tonight...

It’s not much better, but If you can get into and stay on the thread it will normally work, but it will be slow. I keep the FR Thread in one tab and don’t close it. Use other tabs or windows as necessary.

This site will be useless on Election Night.

Everyone should think a bit before making rash statements like that when considering the intensity of this election as number one. Secondly, all of this is squished into 90 minutes. Election night will be just that, election night and not just 90 minutes. The focus will travel between each of the states reporting over a minimum of a five hour period.
