from the Politico.com poll, I didn’t catch the %’s in my cut & paste, but it was 74-25 in favor of Obama.

Who do you think won Monday’s presidential debate?
Results are based on 1198 votes

“. Obama is terrible on substance, of course. In terms of style, during this debate he’s reverted back to his non-standard jive manner of speaking, to wit:

going to: gonna
ought to: oughtta
could have: culdda
want to: wanna

Furthermore, his delivery is peppered with “ya know” and a torrent of “ahh”. In contrast, Mitt Romey’s measured manner of speaking conforms to American English, showing a command of the language and reveals his confidence on the substance.”

I noticed that. In addition, he said “gonna ta” whereas Romney said “going to.” It really bothered me; I know it may be petty, but on the world stage, people will notice that lazy way of speaking.

I filled out my absentee CO ballot today and sending it in by registered mail tomorrow. It may not mean much since I’m registered in Denver County, but who knows.

When I had to fill it out, it was a close call between Mitt and Roseanne Barr. ;) LOL!

****Someone said the stare was the “new” Biden grin.****

When I saw Obama's grin it reminded me of a character from The Simpson's but I cant remember which one.

Maybe I’m missing some crucial context given that I tuned out the debate halfway thru from boredom…

I wish you finished watching it before making overreaching comments halfway into the debate. Romney is a very discipline person. He didn't seem wanting to score on each individual issue, but used the debate for something useful for his campaign. The debate is like his campaign. If you stopped following news at the end of September, you'd think for sure that 0bama would win. Romney was very strong at the end, when he tied the foreign issues with economic issues.

Well if you travel to Northeastern CT you may see a Romney sign and an empty chair at the end of my driveway.

Tonite in a nutshell:

Romney was Presidential and destroyed Obama on the economy.

Obama was a more annoying Horshack with no plans at all to dig out of the hole.

His last two comments and his closing statement were sophisticated, focused, hopeful, definitive and business oriented

Romney nailed it at the end. He wasn't going to let Obama try to hog the end like last time.

Romney grabbed the spotlight and hammered points on the auto industry...PERFECT for grabbing votes in battlegrounds in OH and MI. Obama was PEEVED because he knew exactly what R. was doing.

Then Romney kept the momentum and went out on a final message of optimism, freshness and hope.

EXCELLENT STRATEGY FOR FINAL MINUTES OF FINAL DEBATE GOVERNOR!!
