In short, Obama is a flat-out Marxist.

He should ask the elderly survivors of the Soviet Union under Stalin, China under Mao or anyone older than 35 from Eastern Europe how well that went....

“England is so dark, pessimistic.” He went on to say something that I had heard before, but never in such a personal context: “In England, if they see someone driving an expensive car, they ask why does that guy have the right to drive it? Who is he? In America, they say ‘I want to get me one of those.’

This is exactly what I experienced living in England in the 80’s. It is Socialism/Class Warfare at it's unhappiest. We must stop this in our country or we will never be prosperous or successful again.

Great article! Yep, I think this about sums it up.

I don’t think he’s damaged us beyond repair, but we’re surely limping and sputtering.

Nov 6 will not be merely an election, or even an eviction, it will be an exorcism.

The question to ask is this: every country has roads, bridges, etc, why then has America been successful beyond other countries? It is our American Dream which no other country embraces or understands. Work hard, get ahead and the Government should just get out of the way and let every person excel to their own personal abilities.

Stopped reading at “This has nothing to do with the question of where he was born. That issue has been settled and is not a matter of discussion.”

Because Obama hates America and what it stands for.

This has nothing to do with the question of where he was born. That issue has been settled and is not a matter of discussion. This has nothing to do with his religious beliefs. He states clearly he is a Christian and it is ridiculous to question that. You can even divorce this issue from his childhood. This has to do with his life experience.

His inability to grasp this essential principle – in effect, what America represents – is deeply embedded in his character.

I'll disagree with the author's assertion of "birthplace settled", but that's an aside.

The cited quote can be summarized as "He may or may not have been 'born' an American. What is indisputable is that he was not 'raised' an American".

This is good, aside from his BC or his religion (or lack thereof). The typical Obamabot probably has the same attitude toward this country.

The simple fact is Obama could win himself millions of extra votes if he’d just announce (while lying through his teeth) that he was a champion of free-market capitalism. But of course, he can’t bring himself to utter those words for obvious reasons. He’s too much of a committed, socialist ideologue to spit those words out of his mouth. He can talk about America’s greatness, but he only means it in the sense that the takers continue taking from the producers. In reality he abhors free-market capitalism and wishes to destroy all vestiges of it.

Rather, they encouraged you to aspire to things you want as long as you do so legally and through your own efforts.

I would suggest that aspiration, and even greed, are very different from envy; I would consider only the latter synonymous with covetousness. A person who is covetousness of his neighbor's property is one who harbors ill feelings towards his neighbor as a consequence of such property. Whereas most of the Seven Deadly Sins represent necessary things taken to excess (eating, sex, assertiveness, rest/recuperation, aspiration, and satisfaction), envy serves no useful purpose even in moderation.
