On Friday Drudge teased that far left sensationalist Gloria Allred was about to drop a bomb on the Romney Campaign.
Allred has a reputation of dragging perceived female victims in front of the camera as props to bash Republican candidates. In October 2010 Allred dragged out illegal alien Nicki Diaz to attack heartless Meg Whitman. Minaj was upset Whitman didn’t buy her child a present and claimed Meg took advantage of her despite the fact she made a good wage. In November 2011 she dragged out Sharon Bialek who accused Herman Cain of sexual abuse.
So it is likely this year’s October surprise is Carrel Hilton Sheldon, a former Mormon.
The book Horror Stories: Mitt Romney’s Shameful Record with Mormon Women details Mitt Romney’s “psychological intimidation and bullying” during his role as a Bishop of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The report describes how Romney “tried to bully” Carrel Hilton Sheldon when she was suffering through a difficult pregnancy into not having an abortion. AlterNet reported:

Romney is ahead in the polls and yet you continue to say he can’t win. First it’s factually wrong. Second it serves no purpose but to discourage people from voting for Romney. That amounts to shilling for Obama in reality, whatever your intent.
I read the longer article on this. She was a mother of four children, one having died in infancy, and she was pregnant again. I don't recall seeing a mention of a husband or father of the children in the longer article. So where was the husband/father during all of this?

She had a large blood clot and was given a overdose (gee wonder how that happened) of blood thinner. It also damaged her kidney.
This is what her doctor said, Sheldon’s doctor advised her that the overdose of Heparin might have also harmed her 8-week-old fetus and, given the possible fatal repercussions to her, he recommended that she abort her pregnancy.
When you parse that you discover that the baby was not a threat but that it might have been "harmed". So let's just kill it.
The abortion did not save her life. It did kill the baby though.
He was acting as a church bishop/leader. I am pretty sure that ANY Protestant minister, catholic priest, or any church leader would give similar advice. What did she want to hear? “Sure, go ahead kill it, you have the church’s blessing.” If this is it, it is a pathetic joke. Plus, how was she harmed, he gave her advice that she obviously sought, she didn’t listen, the baby is dead, and she has gone about her life. What the hell does she need with an attorney, going to sue God?
This could possibly swing some undecideds in battleground states.We all *know* that this is gonna get covered bigtime by the lamestream media.

Now, its true in the summer, I was sure Obama would be re-elected but the first debate was a true game changer and to his credit, Romney has run an effective, error-less campaign.
Back in September, one wondered if he really wanted the job. Now it looks like he will get it.

A story that shows that Romney was pro-life 30 years ago, isn’t going to hurt him now, it will actually help shore up his pro-life stance now. He says he’s pro-life (despite his actions as governor that call that into question) and here is a story that lends credence to it.
Maybe O isn’t paying Gloria, maybe its Romney. Because the story helps him more than it hurts him. The only people scandalized by this are people who weren’t going to vote for him already.
I know a young couple, Mormons, who were devastated when, with their fist pregnancy, the doctor told them tests showed the baby had “no brain”! He all but demanded they abort.
They prayed about it - they consulted with their bishop. They decided to trust God.
Twenty years later, their ‘brainless’ girl graduated with top honors from college.
Then there'e Sarah Palin. She and Todd knew little Trig's problem - but they decided to let him live - and they love him to pieces. (and BTW, they're not even Mormon.) The Mormon church is hardly the only faith that opts for life. If Glory-hound Gloria uses this angle, she's going to cement more people FOR Romney than against. There aren't many people who think it a crime for a bishop to advocate for the unborn.

I agree, if there was anything, ANYTHING the left had on Romney they would have brought it out when he was running for the Republican nomination. The left knew that Romney would be the one that would most likely beat Obama, that is why many people voted for Romney, not because they agreed with him on everything or even liked him, but because they knew that Obama could lose to him. This is the same Mitt Romney that doesn’t even drink caffeine for goodness sake! This is the best the left has on Romney..that he wanted to save a baby’s life oh the HORROR

The article identifies Romney as the woman's Bishop, and she claims that Romney showed up uninvited at the hospital. It's obvious that somebody told Romney about her situation, so who was it? Dr. Williams, or someone else she knew? And if he hadn't gone to see her, what would they have said about him then? I guess we'd be reading an account of how heartless he is to women, because he didn't reach out to an LDS member who needed guidance and comfort in her time of need.
Let the lamestream media cover it..because anyone with an IQ above 5 knows that people who are pro choice don’t vote Republican anyway..people who love baby murder vote Democrat so Romney won’t lose any votes with this, in fact he could gain some votes from the pro life movement and also from people who think Allred is a disgusting worm
