On Friday Drudge teased that far left sensationalist Gloria Allred was about to drop a bomb on the Romney Campaign.
Allred has a reputation of dragging perceived female victims in front of the camera as props to bash Republican candidates. In October 2010 Allred dragged out illegal alien Nicki Diaz to attack heartless Meg Whitman. Minaj was upset Whitman didnt buy her child a present and claimed Meg took advantage of her despite the fact she made a good wage. In November 2011 she dragged out Sharon Bialek who accused Herman Cain of sexual abuse.
So it is likely this years October surprise is Carrel Hilton Sheldon, a former Mormon.
The book Horror Stories: Mitt Romneys Shameful Record with Mormon Women details Mitt Romneys psychological intimidation and bullying during his role as a Bishop of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The report describes how Romney tried to bully Carrel Hilton Sheldon when she was suffering through a difficult pregnancy into not having an abortion. AlterNet reported:
A far more ominous tale in the Romney canon also took place that summer, one that has been largely swept under the rug as the former governor of Massachusetts challenges incumbent Barack Obama for the presidency. There have been no songs written about it, no cartoons, no gags on late-night television, no magazine covers.
It was in August of that year, shortly after the Romney family returned from their vacation to Lake Huron, that a pregnant woman in her late 30sCarrel Hilton Sheldonwas informed

Seems Romney was under a different impression. He seemed to think the woman would live, but her child would be retarded. He was advising her that retarded children are a blessing and therefore, she shouldn't abort just because the child would be retarded. Did the woman at any point say, "Look, Bishop Romney, you don't seem to have the whole picture here. I will DIE if I don't have this abortion, and what about my other children"? If she did, the article does not mention it. So either something is missing from the story, or Romney was misinformed back then, or the writer is purposely leaving things out. Also, if the woman did end up aborting, as some Freepers are saying, then Romney couldn't have been too forceful or intimidating with her, since she didn't follow his advice! So what's the problem here?
Seem like a strange medication to give a woman who was in such serious danger from an already huge blood clot.
It seems it is what is given if you have small clots to keep them from getting bigger.
He probably doesn’t even remember this woman. God knows how many people approached him for advice over the years.
PATHETIC reveal by Allred, the commie whore. If this is the October surprise, then we can count ourselves lucky. It’s a dud.
Really? He tried to save the life of a child 29 years ago? That’s their nuclear weapon?
This morning on NPR they did a story on a woman who has lost a job twice in one year and receiced a bill recently for a $2,000 COBRA payment. Think she’s worried about what Romney said to some woman about abortion 29 years ago?
Has the powerful Mormon leader ever recommended abortion of a Mormon baby, not that we know of, is he pro-life for gentiles?
Romney was never pro-life, and didn’t pretend to be until he started campaigning for the presidency.
I believe that abortion should be safe and legal in this country; I have since the time that my mom took that position when she ran in 1970 as a U.S. Senate candidate, Romney said
My position has been the same throughout my political career, and it goes back to the days of 1970, he said. There was a woman who was running for political office, U.S. Senate. She took a very bold and courageous stand in 1970, and that was in a conservative state. That was that a woman should have the right to make her own choice as to whether or not to have an abortion. Her name was Lenore Romney, she was my mom. Even though she lost, she established a record of courage in that regard.
Bishop Romney says that Mormonism does not forbid abortion (it doesn't).
Jan Mickelson: and I think your making a big mistake, this is only my opinion OFF THE AIR, but I think you are making a big mistake when you distance yourself from your religion .
Governor Mitt Romney: Im not distancing myself from my faith.
Governor Mitt Romney: Im proud of my faith. There is nothing I distance myself from. There are Mormons in the leadership of my Church who are pro-choice, and they do not violate that. Your not a lawyer, but you have to read that a little bit more carefully.
Should have added in there “ Men ? who needs them, I am here doing just fine “ .....
He might have very well “just showed up” as the lady says. He was a leader in her church. It has been my experience that pastors etc. visit their congregation when they are hospitilized.
Yep. Sounds like a defense mechanism to deal with her guilt from committing infanticide.
I read your post yesterday and now again today and I was wondering where you got your information from. Not that I doubt you I just have not read it anywhere.
We owe you a debt as I think you have now permanently solved the abortion issue for all mankind.
You and your cohorts are lying so much I believe your rapidly growing noses will use up all material necessary for any future carbon-based lifeforms.
.
I am not particularly anti-Romney but the more I learn about the guy, the more I respect him.
I support Mr. Romney’s action even if he was not invited.
I glad he did this, it was the right thing to do.
“NAS Sigonella on Sicily is 500 miles from Bengazi and the AC130 cruises at 300 mph - they could have made it in 1.5 hrs. There were alswo F18’s there that could have arrived in 20 minutes.”
“There was also a SF quick reaction force - a large one - all geared up with helicopter rotars turning there on the ground at Sigonalla, awaiting orders.”
“They begged to launch but the orders never came and they just sat on the tarmac while our people died.”
Is this true? If so, bears repeating, and repeating, and repeating . . . looks like neither Hillary Clinton nor Hussein Obama are capable of taking those “3:00 a.m. phone calls”.
Forward!
I searched online, and the only thing I could come up with was an article she wrote about a year ago. I quickly skimmed through it, and didn't find where she named her father, but she wrote at length about him. He hated Nixon, was apparently bi-polar, and . With both parents having mental disorders, she hasn't got much going for her.
Unfortunately it's from the Huff Po, but here's the link to the article if you want to check it out:
Except that isn't the Mormon position on abortion.
The Mormon position is the same one that Bishop Romney quietly returned to on August 27th, when he rejected the Republican Party Platform on abortion in this CBS interview.
PELLEY: Well, the platform as written at this convention for the Republicans does not allow for exceptions on abortion with regard to the health of the mother or rape or incest. Is that where you are?
ROMNEY: No. My position has been clear throughout this campaign. Im in favor of abortion being legal in the case of rape and incest, and the health and life of the mother.
Rather than start in with your personal attacks, point out which Romney quote is a lie.
And that's probably what they're counting on.
