One may disagree with his politics but never doubt his sincerity and bravery. He flew a B-24 for the 5th AF during WWII and completed his 25 missions over some of the most defended targets in Germany, Romania, and Austria. The man served the AF with honor and class; he was a true patriot. RIP George.
