Apparently America is so polarized by the two party system that Obama supporters are going to Twitter to make moronic, and in some cases deadly, threats. While everyone understands that politics can become heated and one’s passion can overtake them, it should not result in violence. It seems though that both sides bear some bit of responsibility in this manner.
Immediately following the debate this week, Obama supporters took to Twitter venting their anger at Mitt Romney and making several tweets with regard to assassinating him. I’m sure the Secret Service is busy with all of these people as I write. But imagine if these Tweets were directed at the current occupant of the Oval Office? There would be Hell to pay for sure.
The American Dream posted 50 things that Obama supporters are threatening to do if Romney wins. Seriously, some of them I wish they would do, like “never have sex again,” which would mean we wouldn’t have to worry about any offspring they might bring into the world.
Another favorite was “I’m moving out of the country.” Again that can only be advantageous to all Americans. Several people had planned which countries they were moving to, including Canada, Mexico, Italy, Ghana, Brazil, Zimbabwe and still others, being Obama supporters of course, didn’t know which countries they were moving to.
Of course, there were the murderous tweets as well and those who claimed their only “hope” they’ll have is in dealing dope.
Others claimed to just curl up in the fetal position and cry all day every day, which is just classic dependent mentality, isn’t it?
I think the problem here is that people have so become a part of the cult of personality, especially that of Barack Hussein Obama, that they just cannot function properly unless he is in office…..at least that is what they think. The reality is though that life will go on without Barack Obama, Mitt Romney, any member of Congress or the Senate. If one is so dependent upon government that they result to the ridiculous notions or murderous attitudes in these Tweets then they obviously don’t have a life and in many cases are a danger to themselves and those around them.
however I was thinking more of 1960s-type riots that I remember,
the deaths and destruction, the military-enforced curfews like we had in Cincinnati, the attacks on white commuters caught in traffic dragged from cars and beaten like we had in Cincinnati -- this went on in cities all over the country. The threat of another riot was constant.
That is what was meant by "[fanning] the flames of the racial issue and have real unrest" I hardly think that a confrontation between two groups on a nearby street qualifies.
Most important is whether the entire Rat Party was in on it or not.. I personally believe that the media's constant news reports about the "will of the people" was coordinated with the Rat Party activists to use riots, deaths and destruction to pressure Bush to yield to Gore.
And if Al Gore prevented that I think we should thank him for it.
My point is that I don’t believe the Gores’ re-write of history.
Really, I don’t think there was the emotion from the grassroots Dems on the Gore-Bush challenge that will exist if Romney beats Obama. Think of the different responses to the assassinations of JFK/RFK and MLK. I lived in NY and/or DC in the 60’s and 70’s. We had the race riots, we had the anti-war riots, we had the MLK riots, we had the I need a cause riots. The potential for that never existed during the Bush/Gore recount days.
Post of the day!
Dead link. :(

The Dims threaten to kill, the other side calls Obama a Communist. Yeah, both sides are the same.
Unless these folks are close friends of Obama, they did better under Bush 2, and they’ll do better under Romney.
I’m impressed- I believe I called for disenfranchised libs to retreat.
Here, we have some strategies, as well.
