CBS News has been told that, hours after the attack began, an unmanned Predator drone was sent over the U.S. mission in Benghazi, and that the drone and other reconnaissance aircraft apparently observed the final hours of the protracted battle…
But it was too late to help the Americans in Benghazi. The ambassador and three others were dead.
Retired CIA officer Gary Berntsen believes help could have come much sooner. He commanded CIA counter-terrorism missions targeting Osama bin Laden and led the team that responded after bombings of the U.S. Embassy in East Africa.
“You find a way to make this happen,” Berntsen says. “There isn’t a plan for every single engagement. Sometimes you have to be able to make adjustments. They made zero adjustments in this. They stood and they watched and our people died.”
We need to outlaw videos that offend Muslims. We cant let this happen again, Cant yell fire in a crowded theater, Hillary 2016. She was so heroic.
Thehad a huge SF QRT ready in Southern Italy just 1 hr flight away and while they begged to launch their commanders had them all geared up, just sitting on the tarmac.

Finally! Somebody is talking about the lack of a rescue attempt. To me, this is the real crime of the Obama administration. At the very least, this is dereliction of duty. The families of the embassy people should be screaming bloody murder than not one attempt was made to save these folks. It’s absolutely shameful.

Desertion!
For weeks now I have thought that the denial of requests for security were a dereliction of duty. I consider the lies and misdirection about the "video" after the attack to be fraud and malfeasance under the color of authority. I don't consider the inaction during the attack to be any of those.
IMO the failure to act during the attack is the direct equivalent of desertion.
ONE MAN had the authority to act that night.
ONE MAN deserted his post!

I am sure the Wise Latino can find a loophole in the first amendment that stops those here from offending Muslims in other countries especially if it saves lives overseas.
Especially in countries where Obama was instrumental in freeing the masses to be a nation in his image true freedom and enlightenment, like Libya.
