Wonderful news! Guess those bitterly clinging to their Bibles here have been putting them to good use!

Pennsylvania is a nice obtuse counter attack for the Teams of Obomites flooding Ohio. Let’s hope this finesse pays off well.

I’m schizophrenic about the whole election, one day I’m like “Yea, we have this in the bag by a huge win” while other days I’ll cower and afraid to read politico.com.

We get over exuberant because most of us just can’t see why anybody in their right mind would vote for Obama.

I’m not counting on it, but it would be wonderful if Romney took PA. It would definitely deal a huge blow to Obama’s chances on election night.

I live in Lancaster Pa. I am originally from the Scranton Wilkes Barre area. I was a strong supporter of Bob Casey SENIOR when he was Governor of Pa. The very reason I left the Democratic Party was because in the 1992 Democratic convention they refused to let Bob Casey speak because he was pro-life. His son is capitalizing on his dad’s good name and even claims to be Pro-Life.

As we get closer to the election here...I am starting to see more and more Romney signs around. I hope it is a sign of things to come. But too many democrats vote the party no matter who is the candidate. That is especially true in Lackawanna and Luzerne Counties even though there is a large percentage of Catholics and pro-life Catholics who live there. In fact Scranton Pa was practically considered the Capital of the pro life movement.

I have a feeling its different this year. The ground is shifting in PA and Romney is a very good fit with the state’s suburban voters. He isn’t frightening at all.

I think the Keystone State will go Red on Election Night!

IF PA wants to keep up the economic activity that has been generated with natural gas and fracking . . . they better vote GOP. O will shut them down in a second term.

And the other part . . . I hope the GOP gets new leadership for BOTH the House and the Senate and kick Boehner and McConnel to the curb. Ummm Allen West for the House and Jim DeMint or maybe Rand Paul IF his nutty Dad and his followers would go vote GOP rather than sit home. Please, no more Boehner or McConnell.

In the main I agree with Cathy but the senate race may have changed the calculus there. I’d still be hesitant to pour money into a state that always leaves republicans standing alone and dumbfounded at the altar but I have come to learn that Mitt Romney is a very smart, capable and calculating candidate so if his private polling is telling him it’s worth a shot I believe it.

Good for Tom Smith. Bob Casey is a real piece of *.

If Smith can pull this off, he really deserves our thanks.

I don't know if I pinged you to this link previously. It is the county summary of the democrat primary undervote. PA is a closed primary state, so this is quite significant. I believe PA is in play.

It will be difficult due to Philly and Pittsburgh. But where I live (Philly suburbs), I see more Romney signs in front yards than I ever saw for Bush or McCain.

PA is going for Romney. Romney and Crossroads have an ad buy for the Iowa - PSU game tonight. I am not sure if that was for Iowa or PA, maybe a double whammy ... Killing two birds with one stone. There are a whole lot more PSU fans watching the game than Iowa .... just a size of state/size of university thing. Obama has had zero ads during the game.

Here’s one good thing I can tell you about PA. I have a huge family, and we’re all conservative, but my mother most of my siblings aren’t very political. However, this year, my siblings and my mom are more motivated than I’ve ever seen. They are arguing with strangers about politics, and trying to get as many of their misguided friends to switch their vote from Obama.

This election has certainly awoken a sleeping dragon.

PA IS IN PLAY AND VERY WINNABLE!!!!

They all but SNUCK Ryan in Pittsburgh International and he still drew a quick, enthusiastic 1000...this past July, Gov. Romney was in my little town (Irwin) and he had an overflow crowd. It’s a different “feeling” this time. Three reasons: 1) Energy. The Obama EPA HAS shut down coal powered electric plants (making our electric bills almost TRIPLE), and 2) the Marcellus Shale...fracking HAS flown under Dear Leader’s EPA and is alley regulated by the Commonwealth. That WON’T continue under a second Obama Regime. Alot of “shaleionaires” are supporting Romney; and 3) Tom Smith has criss crossed this state. He HAS done the heavy lifting to get the “R” groundswell going. In many ways I find him more conservative than Toomey. He defeated the RINO, party endorsed candidate in the primary and then spent HIS OWN money (which he made in the coal industry!) to fund his campaign.

Anecdotally there is a sign, that I see EVERYWHERE in my area...”SAVE COAL, FIRE OBAMA.” The R/R HQs cannot make more fast enough. It IS the sentiment of the masses in the western part of the state.

R/R NEEDS to carpet bomb the Pittsburgh TV market with ads (as they will be seen in eastern OH and WV as well). PA will go red INSPITE of Philly.
