I live in Lancaster Pa. I am originally from the Scranton Wilkes Barre area. I was a strong supporter of Bob Casey SENIOR when he was Governor of Pa. The very reason I left the Democratic Party was because in the 1992 Democratic convention they refused to let Bob Casey speak because he was pro-life. His son is capitalizing on his dad’s good name and even claims to be Pro-Life.

As we get closer to the election here...I am starting to see more and more Romney signs around. I hope it is a sign of things to come. But too many democrats vote the party no matter who is the candidate. That is especially true in Lackawanna and Luzerne Counties even though there is a large percentage of Catholics and pro-life Catholics who live there. In fact Scranton Pa was practically considered the Capital of the pro life movement.

It has always puzzled me how the Pennsylvania contingent at the annual March for Life is so robust and yet Pa. is so democrat.

I was in the Scranton area just 2 weeks ago (was also in Wayne and Pike Counties). R/R signs outnumbered ‘Bama signs by 5:1.

That sounds like good news to me. (I’m on Long Island, and I haven’t seen a SINGLE presidential sign all season. Last time around you couldn’t swing a dead cat without hitting an Obama sign.)

Regards,
