Let’s hope so. They are one of the big reasons the state is in the trouble it is. YES ON 32!

According to a major poll, only 36 percent of voters are in favor of Prop 32.

Unfortunately, the unions will not lose this battle. There are still an enormous number of liberals and parasites in this state that will vote for the marxists, and the way the numbers look now, along with the insignificance of any true opposition party to the left, this is more or less now a permanent left-majority state.

We'll see if it ever changes, but probably not in my lifetime.

Labor union members claim Proposition 32, which would limit how unions raise money for California political campaigns, would rob them of their political power.

What's the downside?

"Jack Pitney, a political science professor at Claremont McKenna College, said the provision weakens the ability of unions to participate in elections. “They could still try to get voluntary donations from members, but without that steady stream of income via the payroll deductions, it would be a lot harder for them,” he said."

Boohoo...cry me a river that you wouldn't get to use union dues to elect your liberal politician of choice.

I already sent in my absentee ballot and voted not only yes, but hell yes.

The unions have been running commercials that flat lie about this proposition for two months now.

There are apparently no standards for political ads these days.

CA is owned by public sector union thugs. We need to remove the host for this parasite which is their members cash.

Unions Claim Prop 32 Would Rob Them Of Political Power

Dear Union Thugs:

This is a feature, not a bug. Citizens and taxpayers, the People of California, NOT UNIONS, are supposed to have the power. California does not yet have a Mussolini style "corporate constitution", where interest groups are the locus of power.

That’s exactly why 32 was written. To stop unions using union dues to pay for political campaigns.

It also effects corporations too.

Yes on 32!

The younger Munger has given nearly $23 million in contributions to the measure.

Unfortunately, Munger's money seems to have come in late. Here in the Frisco area, I have been hearing anti-32 commercials since August. I only recently heard a pro-32 ad. And that was on the conservative talk station KSFO! A waste of their money. Nothing on TV yet while the unions have been on the air for weeks.

It is still an important election. The tax initiatives are a lot closer and the Rats are squealing so we have a chance to vote them down. My rule is yes on 32 and 33, no everything else.

Also the state senate and assembly elections are critical. The Rats are close to a 2/3 majority there. if that happens, they can raise your taxes any time they want. Which will be all the time!

So get out and vote at least once.

The whole concept of labor unions is outdated and unnecessary, as there are loads of State and Federal laws that protect workers’ rights and safety.

The contract is between the union and the business. Nothing in the agreement indicates that the union is supposed to be heavily involved in politics and is thus able to take money from workers to support the union bosses views and LIFE STYLES.

I will vote yes...However, I am not sure that it will pass...
There are still too many voters in CA sympathetic to unions...

CA is having financial problems not because “rich people” are not paying enough taxes but because public sector unions are “too strong”...Unfortunately, not enough people realize that.
