Theres video of this out there somewhere, I assume, but Im not going to post it. Thats my concession to bipartisanship today: Im not going to post a clip of this chortling oaf, who got elected running with a guy known for tut-tutting people about the smallness of their politics, turning prop comic to transform a dumb liberal Internet joke into a Serious Campaign Issue. Lets leave the man with what little dignity he has left.
And I do mean little:
Vice President Joe Biden introduced a new prop into his stump speech on Friday: A binder.
Mocking Mitt Romneys binders full of women remark at a campaign rally in Fort Pierce, Florida, Biden held up a black binder in the air as an example of the Republican candidates solution to gender-based pay discrimination.
Slow Joe has shown us that when you all have is Big Bird and binders full of women - there’s nothing there.
I gotta say one good thing about our Vice President: he been great for the entertainment value!
Too bad we can’t have him around another four more years!
No doubt, meanwhile the mastermind of it is relaxing in Benghazi and bragging about it, sipping Strawberry somethings.
Yeah, O's is certainly Johnny on the spot with the search to bring to justice allright.
I didn't hear what Biden said, my brother heard it.
Romney has a big agenda for day one. Might have to save that for day two. :-)
“Stand up, Chuck! Oh, what am I talking about? I just put myself in a binder!”
We need a picture of a binder sitting on a chair. Caption:0bama getting a lap dance.
LOL
Bite your tongue. lol.
I posted this before, and I too have tried to follow this - but cant. Is this comment being taken by Obama that Romney doesnt have any women cronies or relatives or daughters of lobbiests to hire - and actually has to look through some resumes?
Or is there something in the term binder that is either sexist (like breast or foot binding) or is old-fashioned (binder - Romney cant use a computer?) Or is it because he has binders full of women (how do they all fit in there!?), and not binders full of womens resumes?
Sounds like whoever prepped Biden on his debate has taken over the entire campaign.
Binder!!!??? HaHaHaHaHa.. Did he say a BINDER!!??? WOW - a BINDER????!!! Come over to my house. HaHaHaHa
Binders full of women’s resumes.......(different Admin) binders full of Muslim resumes:
Yes, Obama’s Democratic Party in a nutshell.
Is there a valid birth certificate in any of those binders?
How about a list of failed green energy companies?
It was not even a bit awkwardly phrased. For old-school people, like me, who still use binders, that exact phrase would roll off the tongue quite naturally. When I heard that phrase in the debate, it did not stand out to me in the very least.
That said, I think "BinderGate" is the most awesome thing since "AttackWatch.com"! Where it's hurting Obama most is, ironically, among women, who are quite serious about finding a serious candidate to deal with the serious issues they deal with daily: rising food costs, rising energy costs...."BinderGate" just emphasizes to women the total lack of any seriousness from the bankrupt Obama campaign.
In fact, if the Obama campaign keeps using BinderGate as a serious campaign issue from now until election day, I would not be surprised to see women ultimately break evenly between both candidates.
Vice President Joe Binder!
Does Biden think binders is another three letter word like J-O-B-S?
These people are so out of touch. There are literally millions of women dying to be in one of those binders full of qualified cabinet-level women so they can get a good job, rather than work their way up from barista to store manager.
Romney should have said “file cabinets.” Then Joe would have to wave a file cabinet around.
My take on it is they want it to become a meme like “empty chair” and Biden doing this confirmed it for me.
Desperate and not going to work.
Joe Biden: A smile with a binder behind it.
Doesn’t Joe know that the seeds for his now plush hair were once stored in a binder?
This whole binder thing is stupid - so probably just best to let it go. But a point could be made (in an add, etc.) by comparing a binder of women’s resumes to the several hardbound THICK “books” that the government put out that details all of the Obamacare regulations on business.
Have them sitting on a table next to each other, with the caption or voice-over “Which one do you think is better for getting women back into the work-place?”
