Billy Graham buys election ads after Romney meeting
CNN ^ | October 18, 2012

The most famous and revered pastor in America, Billy Graham, is calling on voters to cast a ballot for their faith in full-page ads in the Wall Street Journal, USA Today and other newspapers.

Graham’s picture appears prominently in the ads, next to copy that reads, “As I approach my 94th birthday, I realize this election could be my last.”

It continues, “I believe it is vitally important that we cast our ballots for candidates who base their decisions on biblical principles and support the nation of Israel. I urge you to vote for those who protect the sanctity of life and support the biblical definition of marriage between a man and a woman. Vote for biblical values this November 6, and pray with me that America will remain one nation under God.”

The ad hit the prominent papers Wednesday and Thursday, and could hit a dozen more newspapers...

There’s a reason my 17 month old has the middle name Graham.

Romney thinks he’ll “become” a god.
*******
Really? What EXACTLY as led you to this conclusion? No generalties please, just facts to substantiate your statement. What specifically has Romney said that would lead you to make this assertion or is this just your unsubstantiated opionion? Please be honest.

So--you want me to vote for Obama?

Or NOT vote, and essentially do the same thing by default?

We are a democracy--not a theocracy, and I will vote for the man who can best lead the governance of my country, not my eternal soul!

I’m not convinced Romney is a conservative, either. He says he can be. I am willing to give him a chance to show me.
********
God willing, Romney may wind up saving the country from the destructive path its on. For that, he doesn’t have to be the prefect conservative.

And the sad reality is that he and his family will pay a terrible personal price as the left will attack him visciously and relentlessly. Who among us would be willing to endure that personal ordeal? Rather than us giving him a chance, if you think about it he’s giving us a chance.

IIRC, Jimmy Carter was a “born again” Christian. So much for that guideline for voting.

I am NOT NOT NOT convinced he’s a “conservative”.

I agree, I'm not convinced he is conservative either, but I am also convinced that Obama is not only a communist, but that he is not an American.

This election comes down to a choice between capitalism and comunism.

Sit out and you are telling the world that you would rather have 4 more years of communism than a capitalist who happens to be a RINO Republican running things.

It's as simple as that.

IIRC, Jimmy Carter was a “born again” Christian.

After leaving office, Carter dropped being a Southern Baptist, and formally left them.

Bishop Romney does believe that he will become a God, as does Harry Reid, both are Temple Mormons, many think that Mitt has already received the “second anointing”.

Here is the Catholic description of the polytheistic cult.

*””Mormonism teaches that we are all children of God the Father, and that we were first born in Heaven as spirits. Like all people, these spirits come down to earth to inhabit the bodies of babies just being born, where after they grow, learn, and return to God. During this “compression” into the infant state, the memories of their pre-existence are “veiled.” Even God was once a Man like ourselves who evolved into a god.

By following all the rules and ordinances of God here, Mormon men and women have the potential of also becoming gods (by first becoming a good Mormon, paying a full ten percent tithe to the Mormon church, and follow various laws and ordinances of the church). “As god once was, man is. As God is, man may become” (Joseph Smith’s words). Mormons believe that there are many worlds and many gods. Each god is similar to God the Father, having the same powers and omnipotence, and even being able to create their own worlds. “Heavenly Father” is only the name of the god who rules over this world.””

Bill Clinton wasn’t a conservative either..yet,the pubs dragged him kicking and screaming to do the right thing.
Most of the good that came out of Clinton Admin, that he now takes credit for, wasn’t his doing.

Thank you for that “unbiased” clip from www.catholicapologetics.info.

I see they also they are not too charitable to Protestants or other religions.

SCENARIO: Your church is burning down and there are two firemen. One wants to see it burn down and the other wants to put the fire out. Neither belong to the church. Do you ask the fireman who wants to help to put the fire out or do you simply walk away and let the church burn down? Maybe a stupid analogy but WE NEED YOUR VOTE! ;o))
Have you watched this? It is awesome and brought me to tears!

Not stupid at all. In fact, its very well put. In a very real sense, we are on the precipice of an unthinkable national disaster that will destroy out children’s future. We simply must get Obama out of office.

Please tell us what guidelines you use for voting. A person can well be born again, believing that Jesus is Lord, and that God raised Him from the dead, and yet still be mistaken in other matters. That still does not nullify that he is indeed born again.

Yep, I’m totally with you on that. And, I know when elected that Romney will stab Conservatives in the back (and the front). But what’s the alternative? The premature destruction of the USA? Sort of a Hobson’s choice here.

Protestant denominations are not a different religion, they are different Christian denominations.

All Christian denominations agree that Mormonism is a different, non-Christian religion, the Orthodox, the Protestants, and the Catholics all agree on that.

Besides, I thought that your question was about whether Romney expects to become a God, not to mock Christians.

Are you a Mormon, or just anti-Christian?

If he governs the nation as a conservative, maybe I’ll vote for him in 2016.

Can not believe that you prefer obama. You must be very young or just confused.

Voting for someone who claims to be “Christian” means nothing. President Obama makes such a claim. I think he makes that claim because he knows it is helpful if you want to win elections.

Jimmy Carter was a Democrat - I don’t remember that much about him, but as a Democrat, I would assume he was pro abortion, but, I could be wrong.

Can a born-again Christian support abortion, homosexual behaviour, etc? Personally, I don’t think so.
