Next week, MLive.com and The Grand Rapids Press will make the decision about who we believe should be elected Michigan's U.S. Senator.
We'd like your help.
Unfortunately, Sen. Debbie Stabenow, D-Lansing and former Congressman Pete Hoekstra, R-Holland, couldn't reach an agreement on debates, so you won't get to see them square off on the issues.
But you've likely seen or heard a campaign ad and maybe you've made your decision. Now help us make ours.
DOH! Helps to have a link to poll:

It helps to leave a comment as well.
She should be charge with assault and A123 bettery.
It appears to be a close one...
Debbie Stabenow 14.2% (187 votes)
Pete Hoekstra 85.8% (1,130 votes)
Total Votes: 1,317
The country dumped her husband and Air America, Michigan needs to dump her..........
Her strong areas are Detroit, Ann Arbor, and K-Zoo.
Hoekstra was correct when he said the 17th amendment should be repealed.
It was snake oil sold to us as a means of empowering the people when it really did nothing more than strip power from the states. If not for the 17th amendment, Michigan would have at least one and probably two GOP senators.
Go Pete!
Thanks cripplecreek.
Voted and left comment as well........
Thank you for voting!
Debbie Stabenow 12.05% (229 votes)
Pete Hoekstra 87.95% (1,671 votes)
Total Votes: 1,900
Michigan Farm Bureau has endorsed her! I don’t get it at all.
She votes in favor of ethanol subsidies and cheap Mexican farm labor.
Who-hooo, Petey at 88%. Too bad it’s not the real deal!
