An interesting question for which I have only an imperfect answer at best: Why did the Obama campaign believe that their months of demonization would work when inevitably the real Romney would emerge at the debates or sooner? Especially because, unlike Senator McCain in 2008, Romney always was going to have the resources to run a formidable campaign. Anyone who watched the Republican primary debates could see that Romney above all is a man of supreme decency, integrity, and modesty.

I hope Romney has a direct pipeline to the Mormon pope in Salt Lake City and gets the best advice on how to exorcise the White House. The Mormon pope should give him advice on how to sweep out every Marxist Bammy Boy has insinuated into the Federal bureaucracy. Mormons over Marxists everytime!

I didn't say I wasn't going to vote for Romney. What I am saying is that portraying him as Mr. Soft Touch during the campaign is not exactly laying very good groundwork for what will have to be done after he's sworn in.

I don’t think anyone on our side has any illusions of the almost impossible and monumental task that is ahead.... only God’s intervention will save us... hopefully.
