WI Senate: Dem Baldwin Wanted to Block Body Armor Funding for Troops

It is always stunning to learn the truths about certain elected officials in our government. In a startling revelation from Media Trackers Wisconsin, Rep. Tammy Baldwin co-sponsored legislation to block funding of body armor and medical supplies to our troops in combat. She did this during each of her terms in congress from 2003-2009. At least four times Baldwin co-sponsored the legislation, in 2003, 2005, 2007 and 2009.

It was only in 2011 when Baldwin was considering her possible run for the U.S. Senate that her name does not appear as a co-sponsor on this legislation.

The Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate co-sponsored legislation in every session of Congress from 2003 until 2009 to allow taxpayers opposed to the military, Department of Defense, and various intelligence agencies to withhold their tax dollars from being spent in support of those entities. Specifically, the legislation allowed individual taxpayers to block funding that would be used, “the training, supplying, or maintaining of military personnel.” That would include body armor, medical supplies, and other non-offensive equipment.

Is there ANY republican anywhere bold enough to propose this:

Legislation to allow taxpayers opposed to ABORTION to withhold their tax dollars from being spent in support of those entities performing them. Specifically, the legislation would allow individual taxpayers to block the use of their own personal tax dollars as funding that would otherwise be used to “perform, support, provide facilities and supplies for, or promote abortion of healthy babies".

Or even better, require a positive action to fund abortions, a tax form tic box modeled on the Presidential Election Campaign fund.

It is unconscionable for you to use the full might and authority of the United States Government to force at gunpoint people who believe abortion is murder to pay for those murders.

Put your money where your mouth is. Show some spine, some courage of your convictions.

Shouldn't we be asking why Tammy is back in the closet.

She is shameing all of us by not running as the liberal lesbian democrat that she is.

She use to be so proud of the fact that she was the frist lesbian rep from Wis.

Why is she back in the closet not a word from her about her past is she a shame of being a liberal, lesbian. She shames us all by hiding

Tammy come back out of the closet and make us proud. Let the whole world know what a proud lesbian you are.
