All submissions must be posted by midnight the night of the 3rd debate. (Oct 22)

For those not technically inclined -

  1. Go to RCP | Electoral Map | Interactive Map
  2. Create your map by clicking a state and assigning it to Romney/Obama (it's pre-filled with current likely outcomes, gray states are toss ups currently
  3. Take a screen shot (Mac - Command/Shift/4, select the region to copy, will save to desktop. PC - if I remember - make the window outline the image of your map, then ctrl/alt/printscreen, then copy to MS Paint and save as gif or png
  4. Go to an image hosting site since FR does not host images. Example - http://postimage.org/ ... there are many others - upload the pic, it will give you a list of different types of urls to suck the image into your post.
  5. Choose Hotlink for Website if you used postimage.org, basically - choose a url that is surrounded by an "img src=" tag. Make sure to preview your response to make sure your HTML is working
  6. Reply to this post ... copy in the URL you got from the image hosting site when you uploaded.
  7. Post will be timestamped, w/your user name, so unlike in the Obama administration, there will be a trail of truth
  8. The latest image uploaded prior to midnight of debate 3 is your final entry.
  9. make sure the image is around 200K or less, otherwise the thread will take forever to load
  10. If you want, after pasting in the image url, add a paragraph tag and defend your map
  11. Update as often as you want before midnight Oct 22 after the 3rd debate

Here's my first entry.

I believe that Obama followers are sheep-lemmings, of different levels of sheephood-lemminghood. As the numbers turn more and more to Romney, many sheep won't vote at all out of shame, others will secretly vote for Romney. However, in some states, Obama-hood is a large part of sheeps' identities, so they will go down with the ship out of pure ego. Plus ... the polls are skewed by about 1.8 points Dem vs. the reality on the ground. Screen Shot 2012 10 18 at 5 36 33 PM

I gave Obama 327 EV - counting PA. That’s in the ballpark.

He can lose there and lose NM and still be well over 300 EV.

I agree except for Michigan. Although I like your projected results better!

Here's my guess. Popular vote could be as high as 54-45 Romney (more likely 51-48, once the vote fraud mechanisms have done their work), but it's hard to see the Electoral count getting much higher than 295.

I will settle for no less than the electoral map in ‘72.

What I did was use the 2008 electoral map- all states that went for McCain will go for Mitt. FL, VA, NC, IN, WI, NV, CO, OH will be in Romney's column IMO. This map shows Mitt winning 297-241. So even if Mitt loses Ohio (unlikely as he's leading nationally by 7 points [LV, Gallup]], he will win but by a very small margin.

To: HannibalHamlinJr; All
I believe Romney can pull a Reagan, or better...a 50 state sweep. As Zero's campaign gets more and more desperate, they'll be prone to more and more gaffs and goofs that just can't be ignored. And I am pretty confident Romney will clinch it in this 3rd debate.

Also, as the weeks pass, getting closer to the election, I'm noticing fewer and fewer Zero bumper stickers in the Blue State I live in. There is HOPE for CHANGE!
