John Kerry on presidential debate prep: I need exorcism to be rid of Mitt Romney By: Kevin Robillard October 17, 2012 08:20 AM EDT
Sen. John Kerry joked Wednesday that hell need an exorcism after the final debate next week to purge Mitt Romney after playing the GOP presidential nominee for weeks in debate prep with President Barack Obama.
Its been an interesting exercise, Kerry said on MSNBCs Morning Joe. Ive decided next Tuesday Ive got to have an exorcism of Romney out of my being.
Meanwhile, Kerry, the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, defended the administrations handling of the attack in Benghazi, Libya, that killed four Americans, and called Romneys reaction not presidential.
You dont play games with national security, Kerry said. Before anybody knew the facts, Mitt Romney was politicizing this issue, and that is not presidential you dont do that if youre running for president. You get the facts. He criticized this administration, accused them of creating this event, before he even knew what this event was. Thats not presidential. Thats not the leadership we need.

Anybody know what horse face is talking about?
Oh John why the long face?
With a face that would scare a cat...
that must have been really hard for him to play the part of a wealthy Massachusets flip flopper.
Is it possible that Mitt was smarter than the President and knew it was the anniversay of 9-11?
You dont play games with national security
This coming from a man who mad military strategy in Iraq the centerpiece of his own campaign.
But didn't the Obama administration play games with national security by running with the false story about the video? It took them two weeks for them to "get the facts."
Poor John Kerry. He will never be President. He will never be Secretary of State. After January, he won’t be Mr. Chairman anymore. And after speding decades in Ted Kennedy’s large shadow, he is now outshined by the junior senator of his state. Poor John Kerry!
It was hard for him to play a man who made it on his own rather than going the gigolo route.
Lurch means he needs to get back to his day job
being a rich (5 times as rich as Romney) gigolo, masquerading as a foreign policy expert and man of the people (oh and experienced combat veteran, he served 4 months in Vietnam you know)
Stunning lack of civility. Welcome to the election of 1860 without the great oratory... we just need a few sparks to set all of this dry tinder ablaze...
What is left of free America needs an exocism to be rid of this America hating leftie Nancy Boy.
I swear we live in two different realities. When Romney is elected he will not have any peace. They will double down on destroying him. It will make the attacks on GWB look like a powder puff football game. No longer will either side just put aside their differences and find any common ground. There is no common ground left.
Did his wife give him permission to speak?
“..scare a cat”
Well, it is close to Holloween.
I may have mentioned this before, but I met that idiot John Kerry 3 times when I was a student in Boston. He came off to me as rude, condescending, unfriendly and a all around jerk. I was a liberal Democrat at the time as well. I was never so angry as when he did not even look at me in the eye during a political science reception and moved to talk to some bigwigs in suits.
I was amazed that he rose to be the nominee in 2004 because he came off as a phony...now smiling and waving and chatting with people he previously had contempt for.
I hate that man. I am glad the last time I ever saw him I said right to his face “you are a real jerk.”
As far as Romney's treatment of National Security goes, Romney hasn't met with Al Queda, the Taliban, or the mullahs of Iran so he isn't a traitor like Kerry.
