How the hell can conservatives except a liberal moderator to be impartial? Time after time conservatives allow liberals to moderate ... what the hell!! Makes me want to scream!! Why do we continue to kow-tow to these folks? And we wonder why we lose elections.
With this attitude, we deserve to lose.
Notice how these debates are aired on every normal channel?
If they had one conservative moderator, the broadcast networks and MSNBC and likely CNN would drop out.
I suspect this was the condition of Obama holding 3 debates. Obama knows his case and grasp upon reality, facts, & reasoning is weak to say the least and thus does not stand well to debate. Mitt probably had to do a lot to get him to attend even 1 debate much less 3.
Namely Obama probably named “moderators” he felt would be friendly to him as Crowley proved to a fraudulent extreme.

Without “safe” moderators there would be no debates, and the Dems control the media (for the time being). Don’t expect to see Lehrer moderate again - he’s done.
Remember that BJ Clinton was elected, and re-elected, with the help of a media that ensures he would never be asked unscripted questions. Later in his presidency it became clear as o why that could never be permitted - they could never have someone ask him if he went on to smoke the cigar, etc.
I so agree, Republicans get agree that all debates be moderated by Liberals; why didn’t Romney/Republicans insist on at least one Conservative?
I also feel Obama knew the questions; he had way too many facts and zingers....
It’s coming back to haunt them. Romney and Ryan have done a great job turning this to our advantage and in the process exposing the MSM for thy lying propagandists they are.
I know! I was saying the same thing today! She was obviously extremely biased and this was known well before the debate. Why is this allowed?! Isn’t there anybody around that can be trusted to be fair? Why is it always a lefty moderating these debates!
I agree with your comment about why Republican candidates agree to engage in debates where a clearly biased advocate for the Dems is selected as the moderator. The selection of moderator should be an absolute pre-condition to agree to any debate. If the other side won’t agree, then don’t debate. I’d frankly prefer the format that was used on Crossfire, where you’d get a partisan journalist on each side who would question the candidates. Romney’s got to stop playing by the marquis de queens bury rules. He didn’t hesitate to get into the dirt in the Republican primaries but he’s been a wuss in the presidential campaign.
