The results are Obama 51% and Romney 46%.

Watch, Obama will push to lower the age of enfranchisement to 8 years.
I imagine the teachers are much more outspoken politically nowadays than historically.

Well...the brainwashers at the schools aren’t doing too well....I would have thought Obomba would win by a LOT MORE!
Exactly. Obama is just a pop culture president so more young kids know of him. that’s about it. And he’s the current sitting pres they see all of the time on TV. It’s about familiarity and nothing more.
And, of course... all this without one smidgen of pro-left prodding by teachers.

My hometown democrats were closet democrats most part.
My children get Scholastic Magazine at school. They just came home from school and I told them the Scholastic vote was in. They looked at me like I was an alien. I guess Catholic schools did not get that issue.

Older population and poor families tend to be larger.

My kids at a private Christian school did not vote either.

Governor Bush received 357,847 votes, or 54 percent of the total.
The Democratic contender, Vice President Al Gore, received 276,898 votes, or 41 percent.
Only 26,736 students, comprising 4 percent of the total, voted for other candidates.
I’m sorry, but how many who voted were illegals and anchor babies?
If you look at the border state statistics, it looks like they comprise quite a bit of the people voting.
