With all due respect, I don’t believe in any of that hocus pocus.

May I ask you, why did you ask for clarification of what the Bible or Christian doctrine has to say on this matter, but then utterly reject the evidence with hand waving once it was given?

You and I may be on the same side politically, but from a spiritual perspective you and I differ on the trivial notions such as heaven, hell, death, redemption, sin, and salvation.

In that respect, you and Crowley are on the same side.

There is a battle going on. It is real.

"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."

Ephesians 6:10-12

You didn’t give me any clarifications whatsoever.

One of the things that drives me nuts about most Christians today is this notion of reading the Bible and interpreting it to support their own prejudices.

I can get 20 Christians in the same room and everybody is going to interpret the Bible the way want to.

And I don’t know what your quote has to do with meditation.

However, I guarantee you this:

If you sat for 20 minutes in the morning and evening and said the word Jesus to yourself in the mind, you are not going to be possessed by the devil and do evil things.
