I find myself wondering what kind of a president Barack Obama might have been if he had waited to run for office and not decided to run for the White House almost immediately after winning his U.S. Senate seat in 2004. If he had waited, say eight years, would Obama have a better understanding of how things get done in Washington? Or would he be oversmitten with his ability to win over others and win in the arena?

Well, think of it this way. If Obama loses, he can emerge from the closet, move to San Francisco with Reggie Love and the two can live crappily ever after in their cozy Victorian rowhouse in the Castro.
“....Durbin, not to mention Jackson, Jr., Luis Gonzalez, Richard Daley, Rahm E, Valerie J, David Axelprick, and Saul Alinsky — those are some real scum.”
Or.... the scum behind the scum. Just as well add the Clinton’s to the bunch.

Obama has his pals buying him a 40 million dollar house in Hawaii. He will have privacy just like Mikey Jackson.
Yeah, that damned Durbin, not to mention Jackson, Jr., Luis Gonzalez, Louis Farrakkan, Richard Daley, Rahm E, Valerie J, David Axelprick, Jan Schakowsky, Bobby Rush, Dan Rostenkowski and Saul Alinsky -- those are some real scum.
I meant Luis Gutierrez, not Gonzalez. Sorry, Gonzo.
Obama’s cluelessness is of the type that time and experience won’t cure. His basic socialist convictions are incureable.
Oh yeah — that’s right; I forgot the hildebeeste!
Had he ever done anything useful in his entire life, he would be a different man. He would not be the man we know. This is a guy who never ran a convenience store, never built anything, never accomplished anything... at all.
He presented himself as a blank slate for people to project their visions. They thought he was what they wanted to think he was, and he was happy to let them think it
What he really is and was is a blank slate for his handlers. Elect a blank slate, you get what you get.
Screw him. The world would have been better off if he had not run.
Just the facts. Obama has lost an election. There were no qualifiers in the original statement.
Coulter pointed out that he always had the table cleared for him so that he ran essentially unopposed in every election.
I count 2008 as unopposed as well.
Once you get out of Crook County, we're not all bad.
[ Would Obama be better if he had lost an election? ]
Better.. Better than what?..
What does she mean by “better”..
A “better” question is what does she mean by better..?
Little Debbie can go pound sand.
Wrong doesn’t improve with time, Deb.
The problem for Obama is his ego - one defeat will destroy the won, IMO?
