A Texas dad who recently returned from a year in Afghanistan spent his time at home picketing his son's middle school after the teen was sent to another school for standing up to a bully he says had been harassing him for years.
Randy Duke, who trains police officers in Afghanistan, has found himself spending his days back in Victoria, Texas, wedged between two pieces of poster board with the phrase "BULLYING VICTIMS ARE PUNISHED HERE" emblazoned on each side. The 48-year-old dad spent hours each day wearing the signs and picketing outside of Cade Middle School.
"The school administration assessed the situation, and gave what I believe was a harsh punishment," Duke told ABC News. "They looked at this as a fight -- which it was not. Had it been, in-school suspension would be an appropriate punishment."
Duke's 13-year-old son Max said he hit his breaking point after another student stomped on one of the expert paper airplanes Max had made and given to a classmate with special needs.
"My son said, 'why would you do that?' and the kid shoved my son. Max shoved back, and an altercation continued," Duke said. "Max has been working hard to stay away from him, since he had been confronted by him and other kids before. They would use racial slurs – saying 'we don't like you because you're white.'"
Accodring to Duke, a teacher said both Max and the other teen were able to get blows in. After the fight was broken up, Max was subjected to the school's policy on fights within the school -- a two-day suspension, after which he was sent to Victoria's Mitchell Guidance Center – an alternate school where students are sent through metal detectors, given pat-downs before entering and even have their fingernails checked.

these anti-bully campaigns are more or less anti-male campaigns.
Essentially they are intended to sissify society into a bunch of nany state crybabies who go running to the government for a free phone to call for help from Her-sister.
That kid should have been pulled from that school years ago.
So a kid who is being bullied who wants it to stop and tries to use proper channels without physical altercation is a sissy? Not every kid likes to fight.
Very few people do. I've never wanted to fight...but I've done it. Some things are worth fighting for.

What nonsense. If they are anti-anything - they are anti white. It is rare that a black kid who bullies a white kid gets the same punishment that the white kid will get, and the truth of the matter is the white kid will more often be punished for defending him/herself from the black bully.
Some of the worst bullies in schools are girls and that was even true back in the 60s and 70s when I was in school - and I attended private, not public schools.
Suggesting that males can learn and practice self-control is “anti-male.” Suggesting that they should lean and practice self-control is “emasculating.” I don’t think there’s even a term to cover the dangerous, heretical notion that there exists a boy who would prefer not to fight!
Sometimes ‘liking’ it or not has nothing to do with it.

As much as I hate/dislike lawyers, this man needs a mean and tough lawyer.
My wife had a co worker, who had a child with special needs on the opposite ends re her intelligence/IQ was off the high end. The 13 year old was a little over weight, very shy and her parents were black and hispanic.
She became a target of dumb and out of control black and hispanic female bullies. The bullies went from verbal bullying to the girl being pushed/shoved and even slapped each day by the equal opportunity bullies.
The principal and superintendent refused to help this poor girl.
I told the mother to hire a private detective to get videos and then get the meanest civil trial lawyer she could find.
They hired a female private detective. The mother dropped her girl off at school and drove away a couple of days later. The bullies descended on the girl, slapped, pushed her on the ground and screamed obscenities at her. The private detective, a female, blew a whistle and yelled at the bullies.
The principal came out to tell the detective to get off the grounds. She was recording him and asked if he was going to do anything about the bullies. He just glared at her. The bullies like him were equal opportunity thugs.
Copies of the videos were made and sent to the principal,superintendent, teachers and school board that afternoon, and the mayor and other elected political officials.
That afternoon in an emergency ad hoc meeting, the mean A$$ lawyer told the enablers, to stop the bullying, expel the bullies and to get the girl out of that school. Then, remove the principal in some position where he had no power nor contact with students.
Then, the mean A$$ lawyer dropped the civil court bomb on the enablers. He said, that the video would be on every tv channel in 24 hours and on You Tube. Then, he would sue everyone in civil court for enabling the bullies, and his client, the abused young lady would own everything they owned.
He got everything he asked for and the young girl was sent to good private school. She has since been graduated from an excellent university and holds a good job.
The principal was put in charge of inventorying janitorial supplies. He took early retirement and left that community.
My son was in middle school, and, being bullied constantly! Finally, I shared with him some advise my mom had given me back in the 50s. I was routinely a** whipped by a neighbor kid. Mom told me that if I wanted it to stop I'd need to administer a little a** kicking of my own.
Amazing as it might seem, but, fighting back never occurred to me. In fact, acts of violence were really frowned upon!
Well, I told my son that he had my blessing to administer a little justice the next time the bully attacked, after he told a teacher. Well the bully attacked, the teacher didn't respond and my son kicked his butt, never to be bothered again.
As a reward, the school put my son in “in-school” detention. When I told them that I was more that able, as his parent, to administer corporal punishment when necessary, I was told that it I ever struck my son they'd report me to CPS! I told the teacher to do her best because I sure was!
I was never so happy as when I got to leave the Maryland public schools for Texas!
This is a serious problem.
It started decades ago with the “No Tolerance” to Violence policies in public schools.
The reason is because minorities were initiating the fights. So, of course in our PC world....we couldn’t have minorities serving suspensions in higher proportions than whites.
The same prison meme that we hear....”...there are x percent of blacks in prisons...that is disproportionate.”
This happened on our private school football team recently. One kid was looking to fight about three different people, one at a time. He punched one of the kids and instantly got rocked by a right cross that blew his eye socket up like a balloon.
All of the kids in the locker room testified to the Principal that the kid injured started it. The kid even admitted it.
They both got suspended. I’ve already told me son, that if he is suspended for defending himself, he will be punished with a steak dinner and possibly a trip to Hershey Park.

This reminds me of an interview I watched on youtube some time ago, where a former Russian operative was describing their tactics: one phase was called something like 'normalization' which was basically convincing people that their state of affairs was normal, but before that one there was a 'demoralization' stage which was designed to make the people lose hope that anything could be done to prevent the outcomes the Russians wanted.
I wonder how many people have a more hopeless mindset because of the indoctrination of the public schools.
This happened in Victoria, Tx. I would bet that the bully was more likely illegal alien Mexican than black kid.
My sister’s son had a similar incident in middle school. At lunch time, several classmates would punch him in the arm and say, “What’s up, whitey.” One day, he had had enough and punched one of them back and said. “What’s up, n_____.” The other kids started yelling at him, a teacher intervened, and my nephew was going to be suspended. My sister, who was a school bus driver for the district and knew the other kids, explained to the school officials what had been going on. One of them said. “I suppose you don’t think your son should be suspended.” She responded, “No, what my son did was wrong and he should be suspended. But if you suspend him, I expect you to also suspend. . .” and she started naming names. Nobody was suspended.
