“Branum said there were seven or eight employees inside the building at the time of the incident but no customers were present.
Police would not say if McCoy was armed, and no additional details about the robbery attempt were disclosed Monday. Branum did confirm there is surveillance video of the incident.
We are gathering information, and ultimately, we will have to meet with the prosecutors office so they can make a decision on whether or not charges will be filed, Branum said.
