I hope your neighbors shot back and hit them. This is getting ridiculous!

No she did not. The worst thing is that on the official crime report that I found..the cops never even mentioned that she was shot at or the description of the perps. I tracked down the cop through the crime report and called him. He tried to play it cool but he finally admitted that it was 3-4 Mexicans,banging first on her front door..then 2 of them went to back door. She confronted them in front after trying to ignore the first bang on front door..they ran and shot at her. But cop says to me....’we found casings on the ground but no bullet..we think the suspects just got scared and the gun was fired accidentally while they were trying to flee.’ Neighbors said they heard the shots..woman says she saw them raise and point gun at her and fire...yet.. Crime report says just an attempted burglary.
Can you believe it?! The sympathy and excuses for the perps was coming from the head cop for my neighborhood. Stunning!! His advice to me was to always answer a knock at my door..then they will not rob or break in.
(Shaking head)..this is in Texas mind you...
