One thing to note is that our press doesn’t care. Or they care only to the extent that it helps or hurts their Messiah. The worse things get the more they work to bury them.

Now the question is, does the public care?

One thing I’ll note, is that somewhat <= 47% care a lot more about getting free stuff than a bunch of Americans getting killed in some foreign country.

“The President lied? So did Bush. Where’s my free phone?”

Sad but true.

I think the true number is probably more like 20% or less that live solely off the govt. teat, that 47% thing has been waaay over blown. You are right the DBM does not care about much at all. But if the regime gets them to stop covering the Benghazi attack by our govt. on Stevens et. all its a big coup for them. Than its all up to us to get the word out.

First, let’s not doubt that the Repubs approved those free phones as well as funding for public TV.

Anybody thinks not I got a bridge to sell, cheap.

BUT...I hasten to add that our guy, Juan McCain, spent much of his political capital and time on his infamous campaign finance that absolutely nonebody in America cared about.

To those who argue, STUPIDLY, that the money spent on public tv or free phones is minimal and would not much matter in terms of money flow to and from the gubmint....sheesh.

they all live in that silly bubble in DC folks.

Now here’s my argument....a family is in debt to the tune of $50,000. Husband and wife sit down and agree to cut down on all spending....cut back, austerity as it is.

Lady goes out and buys a dress for $300. Husbands laments such spendthrift ways and says this has to stop, we’re too deep in debt.

Would the wife have a good argument that $300 is just a pittance of the $50,000 they owe on the credit cards, just move on? “We need bigger money to really knock down our debt,” she might say.

Well that’s the arguments the Democrats keep making.

While us boobs who carry this country on our backs want them to first....CUT BACK ON THE SPENDING!!

At the least remove Sesame street, a treasure trove of royalties and cash flowing in, and the free phones BEFORE you start reducing social security and medicare into which we paid our entire lives not that Sesame street or those phone users put anything back into the system.

Husband says “I’ts not easy working for OBama cause you got to be a good liar”.

Goodness he sure ate his Wheaties this morning methinks.

One thing to note is that our press doesn’t care.

I haven't exactly heard a flood of GOP voices asking questions either. Where are all the indignant and outraged Republicans in bray's District of Corruption? Why no hue and cry from them? True, Trey Gowdy spoke up in the hearing, but that was about a tangential issue. Where are Boner, McConnell, even R&R? Why does the GOP continue it's silence as it did when W took possession of a trashed WH...as it did during Rathergate...as it did with the farcical appointments to the 9/11 c0mission as well as that body's (lack of) findings...again with F&F...and now with this. (please note, I'm sure if I spent some time I could come up with a much longer list)

They step to the forefront if they think that their rice bowl is being broken as in the case of the stimulus, but when it effects the nation and the citizenry.....crickets

ALWAYS it is someone besides the Republicans that bring these travesties to light and then pursue them. Are they afraid of these criminals or are they in league with them?

Now I know that the apparatchiks will be out in full force against my questions...especially a "former infantryman" who I've refused to deal with for more than six years...but ask yourselves, "Where have the DC Republicans BEEN in all these instances."

My tagline says how I feel and will be my last words on this subject today.
