One thing to note is that our press doesn’t care.

I haven't exactly heard a flood of GOP voices asking questions either. Where are all the indignant and outraged Republicans in bray's District of Corruption? Why no hue and cry from them? True, Trey Gowdy spoke up in the hearing, but that was about a tangential issue. Where are Boner, McConnell, even R&R? Why does the GOP continue it's silence as it did when W took possession of a trashed WH...as it did during Rathergate...as it did with the farcical appointments to the 9/11 c0mission as well as that body's (lack of) findings...again with F&F...and now with this. (please note, I'm sure if I spent some time I could come up with a much longer list)

They step to the forefront if they think that their rice bowl is being broken as in the case of the stimulus, but when it effects the nation and the citizenry.....crickets

ALWAYS it is someone besides the Republicans that bring these travesties to light and then pursue them. Are they afraid of these criminals or are they in league with them?

Now I know that the apparatchiks will be out in full force against my questions...especially a "former infantryman" who I've refused to deal with for more than six years...but ask yourselves, "Where have the DC Republicans BEEN in all these instances."

My tagline says how I feel and will be my last words on this subject today.

The Repubs knew about that awful mortgage debacle and I recall Dubya trying to rev up interest in improving medicare and SS but no go, Juan McCain was too busy working that campaign finance reform and I sleep better every night knowing he blew all that political capital on such a thing.

The Repubs knew about a whole lot folks, over time they began to get some money thrown their way for their pork barrel projects.

This is the Blue Blood GOP and here in Delaware they are just squashing us Tea party types like cock roaches.

Folks, they are a political class and we’ve got to bring them down.

It’ll take time. For now we gotta concentrate on OBamer.

But in due course all we got to think is of everything bothering this country....the REPUBS WERE THERE TOO!

They don’t get a free pass in my book.

Everything you say is true and probably even worse than you think. Any instinct among certain Republicans, Bachman, Allen West, etc. to cry out is inevitably tempered by fear of losing Party support at election time.

The Republicans have always been happier as a minority interest within the ruling elitist oligarchy. Worse yet, during stints as the majority, they have tended to only ape the Demoviks with their own brand of futile social program spending—as if they can’t think for themselves.

Once a Menshivik, always a Menshivik.

I think R&R is leaving it up to the talk show hosts to take up that slack. Chrissy Wallace not included.

WTF happened to WVA?

Very good points. Sadly, you are right.

I’d like to see more TEA party GOP’er in Congress and a change of leadership to dump the RINOs.

Will it happen?

No.

Sometimes I have to remember how bad it would be if Nancy Pelosi was back in power. As much as I dislike Boehner, he’s not Pelosi (or Hoyer or Lewis).

Across the board, we have bad leadership or horrible leadership. There is no good.
