The Talk Shows
October 14th, 2012
Guests to be interviewed today on major television talk shows:
FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network): David Axelrod, adviser to the Obama campaign; Ed Gillespie, adviser to Mitt Romney's campaign.
MEET THE PRESS (NBC): Gov. Bob McDonnell, R-Va.; Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed; former Gov. Jennifer Granholm, D-Mich.
FACE THE NATION (CBS): Reps. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., and Elijah Cummings, D-Md.; Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C.
THIS WEEK (ABC): Sen. Rob Portman, R-Ohio; Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden; former House Speaker Newt Gingrich.
STATE OF THE UNION (CNN): Robert Gibbs, adviser to President Barack Obama's re-election campaign; Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., and Al Cardenas, former Florida Republican Party chairman.
Yes, the WH sent her out to lie, but Rice works for the state department. The very same state dept that knew the truth in real time as the attack happened. Everyone now admits that.
The problem is the WH, and Biden in the debate, blamed the intelligence dept for the bad information.
The problem, ( as Brit Hume exposed with his question to Wallace), is if they blame intelligence, why did they select someone from the dept that knew the truth from day one to lie?
That proves they knew the truth, they sent her out and knew what she would say before she said it, and her dept knew the freaking truth!
The bottom line from all this is the WH spin fell apart when Cris Wallace was forced to admit that Obama sent her out there.
Cris Wallace ( liberal puke that he is) knew this, and so did Brit Hume when he asked the most important question asked on a news program in 2012!
And Jeffrey from the Washington Post says this issue will be "litigated" in the weeks to come. Since when does a political campaign substitute for a legal process? Or does Jeff just use words he doesn't understand?
And then he made a distinction between "real people" and moderators. Might an interesting discussion between Candy Crowley and Jeff on the party circuit the next time they meet.
And what should Ryan have done after Biden so rudely cut him off by saying “Now you’re Jack Kennedy”? He should have realized that the primary focus/response of Obama since the first debate was to brand Romney a liar and he should have realized the primary example they are using of that allegation is the tax plan. He therefore should have come right back to that issue the VERY NEXT TIME he had a chance to speak by saying “Martha I will address your question shortly, but, because the Obama campaign had accused Mitt of outright lying in the first debate, it is very important that I finish addressing the tax plan issue, that is if the Vice President will allow me to do so without interrupting me.” Then LAY IT OUT and don’t address any other topic before you have had a chance to make your case. If the other side/moderator knows that you won’t be waylaid or distracted from making your point, they will eventually figure out that it is better for them to stop attempting to distract - because they look like idiots. Hopefully Ryan has learned something from this experience.
HA!
Spewed coffee on that one.
What the hey? You being snarky?
I am suggesting nothing as concerns logistics.
I know full well that these phones were approved long time ago because welfare recipients were not able to search for jobs, etc, etc.
I’m quite sure there were Repub votes for it then, your mileage may vary.
For sure they’ve had chances to overrule on this, times when the pubs were in the majority.
Same with public TV....
You saying the Repubs had nothing to do with all this?
I’ll agree that most of that crap was done and advanced by the Dems but the Repubs didn’t stop it and look at the mess we got now.
But hey, the Repubs halos blind you I suspect.
I said NOTHING about a stimulus package, sheesh.
Moving on from dumb stuff.
Jake Tapper using SNL as representing one side is shameful. Having Martha Raddatz applauded. Noot was a complete failure. Greggy interviewing Steven Colbert and playing SNL too? The world has gone mad, Holy Fluke!
I just saw him....maybe he has his Dracula costume on for Halloween:o)
Gallup has been choosing the “undecideds” for town-hall debates since at least 1996. The transcripts show the moderator calling on questioners by first and last names. Should be easy for FReepers to quickly discover how they all contributed to O’s campaign:)
They should also say what is a $5 Trillion deficit to Obama other than a good start?
That’s zeros history,if he is not protected all the time the truth gets out they cant stand that. These guys are so slick we will have to work hard and get up early to beat them all the time.this is why judges are so important they hide behind the law all the time. Loopholes in the law bail them out constantly.
Take abc, they have 72 virgins on the panel today. In the end no one will be remembered and little will be accomplished which works well for the left they constantly protect. With that many people in a few minutes, nothing happens, ridiculous.
What Axelrod is reporting I believe is not who the ballot was in fovor of but whether the voter who submitted or requested it was a registered Dem or Rep.
Those ballots are not even counted until after the election and then only if the race is close enough for the number of absentee ballots to make a fdifference.
To be a liberal you have to be an angry hate-filled person. I run into them all the time and they are just negative bitter people. I would say there was more than just you irritating this woman, she likely heard her conscious yelling at her so she had to run.
Pray for America
Its all carefully calculated. Have so many panel members that nothing gets done, nothing is remembered and those in jeopardy, the dems are protected all in the light of day.
Really slick.
When is the next Benghazigate hearing? Does anyone here know? It’s not on the committee’s website calendar (last time I checked). If Issa happens to mention when it will be, please post. Thanks!
Here is what I posted the day Rice was on the talk shows. We knew they were lying then and they continued it for another two weeks:
Can you even fathom what their story would have been had Gore been the president 9/11/2001. In fact, bray, this is a great subject for a future essay for you. Tell us what they would have said, done, not done, etc., had President Al Gore been addressing a class of grade-schoolers that fateful morning.
I’d try it myself but you da man when it comes to breaking them down.
To even consider uncollected taxes a $5 Tillion deficit you have to assume you can’t cut any spending and all the money earned in America belongs to the gummit.
First we get in power than we get rid of the Rinos.
