Republicans charge the White House deliberately misled the people, knowing it was an act of terror. They say the decision was political, that Obama didn't want to disclose that al-Qadea had made a comeback in Libya.
In response to these charges, the White House has denied any intentional cover-up and counters that it has been completely transparent – providing its best intelligence on the attack, and then refining it as more information came to light.
The FBI is still investigating the attack. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton also has named a State Department review panel to look into the security arrangements in Libya.

Issa remarked at the close of the hearing this week, that he would like to call forth the SOS for a private inquiry. I am certain that will happen, given the media has picked up on this story.
The stalling will come in the senate where Harry Reid will drag his feet against any Senate hearing. Hear dem senators are interested in hearing testimony, according to Ulsterman Report.
In their arrogance they believed and still do they are immune to anything, do they have a surprise coming to them.
Those Republicans on the Congressional Hearing panel will not let this go, no matter how much the Media wishes they would.
I believe that many in the state dept, and intelligence are more than ready to tell all they know. I feel there must be many that are sick and tired of covering up for Obamas incompetence.
Hope much more is disclosed BEFORE the election.
Looking around the VP nominee names are on the ballot everywhere. So, he is stuck with Joe as far as I can see.

You may be right, but someone has to explain these events and unless they can pin it on the little guy in jail in LA, one or the other has to take a bullet. Hillary will not go quietly into that good night. She will not mind taking him down, unless he (obama) can figure another way to explicate both.
However, she was explicit in her statements at Dover when the 4 bodies came in. She clearly stated this was all due to a video from the guy in LA.
Why is everyone silent about the 10,000 to 20,000 surface to air shoulder fired missles that are missing in Libya? This was testified to on WEDS. I think that you just hit on something -- lots of strange goings on over there.. including visits by Barry's buddy Bill Ayers and wife IIRC recent news items. Lots of Why? questions -- almost like skids are being greased to help radical Islam.
This is what Beck said he was told that Stephens was doing there in Benghazi...trying to buy back the return of the stingers OBAMA gave to this gang of al Quaida. I have not heard this from any other source, but in the hearings the other day they confirmed that the place was seething with men with surface to air missles. If OBAMA provided the arms this could undo him. I pray it is revealed and is true.
So Stevens was SENT to retrieve/beg for the return of those missiles before the election, it failed. What idiot would think they would return them?
Was Stevens the only one who knew about those missiles? Or the only one who knew for a fact who gave the order to give the rebels the missiles? So he needs to be snuffed out quietly. Hillary find the way to do that, yessah massa.
