The traditional Tory blue outfit is immaculate and the famous helmet hair now platinum white is perfectly coiffed. This is former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher on her 87th birthday heading for a celebratory lunch yesterday with her son Mark and his wife Sarah. Was Lady Thatcher at President Reagans funeral? I thought she addressed his funeral service by video....but I could be wrong - my memory isnt what it used to be! She was there and the sun was setting as she said goodbye.

As I recall, her doctors advised her not to take the trip, but she refused to listen to them. God bless her.

Maybe it's my memory that is faulty, and maybe it was Nancy Reagan who I'm thinking of. I believe Lady Thatcher was there though.

It must break her heart to see what is going on in the U.K. and the Western world.

Delightful to see her. I just finished re-reading her book, an amazing work that applies today. It’s over 800 pages but well worth it.

Love is the only word I can think of to describe my feeling for her.

Lady Thatcher did attend President Reagan’s funeral, but her eulogy was delivered as a recorded message as, by that time, she was no longer confident speaking in public, after a series of small strokes. She preferred to be able to record what she had to say in short sessions, rather than deliver a long speech.

You’re right - it’s my memory that failed me. Not the first time! :)
