Maybe in exchange for the ambassador and a few other hostages kidnapped during the raid, but something went horribly wrong and they were killed.This ruined the plot to have Barry look like a hero,so much for the October surprise.
One big question is this:
Why was Stevens is a dangerous area like Benghazi with basiclly no protection. Why was he in Benghazi and not Tripoli?
Was he set up? If so, who set him up? he met with the Turk ambassador and according to reports, Stevens walked out of the counsulate to say goodbyes. At that time all was quiet. Shortly after, all hell broke loose.

We know that Petraeus KNEW there was no protest but told House Intelligence Committee the event was due to an out of control protest.
We know that that a group of Senators sent a letter asking Clapper, Brennan, and Petraeus to explain their position. No explanation yet.
So why did Petraeus lie to the House??? It has to be something big.
The only way you can exchange missing guns for the Blind Sheik would be a staged hostage situation. Obama would have to have some kind of excuse to transfer the Sheik .
